As Michael said, I called the Passholder Hotline, and put in the request for the recovery AP...they tell you that the team will call you back in 3-4 weeks. For me, it was just about 3 weeks on the nose.
Just for info on my experience, I called the passholder line and was told as of Aug 6 the recovery pass was not available any longer but that new passes were coming before the 50th. We are coming to Disney in September so I am hoping we can get AP. I think we will just buy tickets and then upgrade them If we can.
