Am I doing my ticket math correctly?

I bought an annual pass online, just for myself, so that I could benefit from the APH hotel discount. I still need to purchase a ticket for my 11 year old daughter. It states that I save 15% at the gate on a multi-day ticket with my APH discount. Am I better off doing that, rather than buying a ticket online? Online tickets are a $20 savings off of gate price, making a 3 day P2P ticket $185. If I add $20 to that price, then take 15% off I get $171. I always was math challenged, so I thought I would come here for help on what is the better deal.

Can't help with any other options you may have, but your math is slightly out
$185 + $20 = $205
15% disc = $30.75
Ticket price = $174.25

So you're still better off

Check the price at UT as their prices include the taxes where the universal online ones don't. Make sure when you are calculating the online prices at universal that you actually go to the last page where they add in all the taxes and fees.

Just purchased a 2 day, park to park ticket for my Mom with the AP discount. At first, the CM wanted $185 for the ticket, then a few seconds later, the price dropped to $171. That is what we paid. Can't be sure that was what we were supposed to pay :)

If you want your ticket in advance, UT is having a special right now. I just purchased my tickets and they have a deal where if you buy a 2 day PTP, they give you a 3rd day for free. I used the mousesavers code and it was $174 or $175 for an adult ticket.

Was that $171 before tax? If it was that UT deal is looking like a better deal.
