We are supposed to land at MCO at 1050 on 5/29. We are booked on ME, need to check in at OKW, and then have an ADR at CRT at 1400. Oh yeah, also need to activate/buy the APs to get into MK so we can go to the Castle. I'm not so concerned about when our luggage gets there but do care about making lunch at the castle. Do I need to consider alternate ground travel arrangements or should 3 hours be enough time using ME and Disney transportation?

I made a PS today for Whispering Canyon Aug 13th at 1pm
Our plane lands at 945am
We're planning on checking into Wilderness Lodge, turning around and having lunch
if we're cutting it too close and dont have time to check in, at least we'll be there and can check in after lunch (or I can excuse myself for a few mins if there is no line at checkin)

How long do they hold reservations if youre late?

The biggest risk with your plan is that there's no guarantee that your flight will arrive as scheduled. If your flight arrives an hour late, it won't matter if you're using ME or private ground transportation.

With ME, you'll bypass baggage claim. You'll head straight to the Disney Welcome Center. By the time you travel, Magical Express will have had another two weeks to flatten the startup problems. So the sometimes long check-in lines, which were due to the slow processing of the many guests who never received their ME packets, should history by then.

If you're lucky, you'll board a motor coach and leave almost immediately. If you're less lucky, a coach to OKW will just have left, and you'll need to wait for the next one. OKW might be you coach's first stop, or it could make several other stops first.

I think it's realistic to expect to arrive arrive at OKW between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m. That gives you at least 90 minutes until your ADR for CRT to check in, take a bus to MK, purchase your APs, enter the MK, and walk up Main Street. It's tight, but doable.

Another idea would be to see if the Magical Express folks will let you take an ME coach directly to the MK area resorts (if there's room on the coach). You could get off at the first monorail resort and head to the MK by monorail. Then, one member of you party could head to OKW to check in, after lunch, while the rest of you stay in the MK having fun.
