Ok.. I need to know if I am insane or not. We are planning a family trip to WDW is Late April. Dh also has a business trip in Orlando early June for a week. I am trying to convince him to let me and our 2 sons , who will be 1.5 yrs and 3 yrs old to come too. I have to put together a good and cost effective proposal.

I was thinking this. His work will pay for a hotel near the convention site. Although I would love to stay on WDW grounds for ease of business purposes and him not having to justify a non conference related hotel, I can be ok with this. The conference is at the Orlando Conference Ctr. Some local hotels that work would be ok with are:

Courtyard by Marriot I-Drive, Crown Royal Plaza Universal, Radisson Barcelo Hotel, Sheraton World Resort and several others in the area of the conference ctr. Is anyone familar with these hotels or others in the Conference Ctr area…there are about 20 on the list that work is ok with the cost.

I could upgrade DH’s current 7 day PH pass to a 10 day PH no expire for an extra $89. I don’t even really know if he could get to the park with us 3 times but for $89, that is not bad…even if its only once. We have 1 AP for this trip that we could put in my name. I would need to get the youngest a pass also for the # of days. He does not have a pass for the April trip b/c he will be under 3 then.

My thought is to do 2 days at Sea World with the boys, 3 days at WDW and try to hook up with my cousin in Tampa for a couple days. Are there other things to do in the area for a mom with 2 little kids that aren’t expensive???

We would rent a car so the boys and I would have that to go about in. I would try to talk my dad into giving us a freq flier ticket..we have one already …as there are some flights avail on the days we want..not great times but oh well…

Am I crazy to do 2 trips in 5 weeks. What are some other suggestions you have. I need to put together a cost proposal to my DH by the end of this weekend or so.

thanks
