Am I crazy?

If you knew me you would already know THAT answer! We were booked next week at the Pop at rack rate ($77). Cannot stand paying rack when we have an AP! No AP rates anywhere for Feb 5-12! Oh, except Poly lagoon view ($310). Out of our budget.

I kept checking every day for 2 weeks. Finally asked the right question; can you split the reservation between Pop and find another resort with AP rate. Low and behold the CR agent found 5 nights at CR (wing) for $151. She then called back an hour later and had all 7 nights at the CR. Budget, be darned!

Now there's the crazy part. Should we save the $ and stay at Pop or go to the CR? DH says it is my trip; do what I want! I just hate that! I need input!!! We have never stayed at a value. Have stayed at the CR in the tower and it is my kids' fav! But who wouldn't love a room with a view of Cinderella's Castle?

I have not stayed at either resort But I would pick CR over POP. Good luck and have fun!

I have never stayed at a value either, and don't really want to. I just switched from POR to the Poly. Figure can't beat the bigger bed size, room size and location to the parks (MK, Epcot).
I say definetly go with CR!

Here's a dissenting opinion- if you go Pop this time, you will be able to use the $$$ you would have spent at CR for another trip later this year! I'd want to go twice and stay at a less expensive resort than only once and spend more. Do you really use all the amenities at a Deluxe? If so, go ahead. But IMO, I'd stick w/ Pop.

If you are staying more than once this year I would stay at Pop if you are only going once this year go with CR.
