I just booked a trip on a whim for the second week in sept. only 3 nights! but there are 16 of us going!!! I need suggestions on how to keep everyone together without wasting too much time. we are staying at pop century. and plan on visiting MK. AK, and MGM. Most of the people going haven't been in years. I was there last October. Any suggestions on park strategies etc.?

i would go to the parks for the major attractions you really want to do and then park hop to the next park you want to go to.

you could also get a fastpass and then wait in line for another attraction thats not that crowded or get something to eat and wait for your time.

With 16 people, I wouldn't even try to stay together. Just meet up for dinner and a show or something. You will wast a LOT of time trying to keep it together, arguing about what to do next. (Some people like parades, some don't, some like shows others rides.... you get the idea) And if there are kids in this number, there will be many, many bathroom breaks since kids never have the courtesy ;) of having to go at the same time.

I agree with Sters. There's no way to keep 16 people together and happy on a WDW trip. Even if you did, you wouldn't get much done. Pick out the places to have dinner each night and compare notes.:earsboy:

I've seen many large groups of 10 or more folks and they all are wearing matching tee-shirts.Plus I would set a meeting place at a certain time for someone who might get lost from group.::yes:: :wave2:

i agree with the not keeping together part. i suggest you all pick out a couple of times during each day that you'll rendevous (a particular show you will all see, a parade, a meal, etc.) and keep in touch w/cell phones (tracfone is a good cheap option if you don't currently have a cell phone plan).

also, decide up front if you want to be park commandos or if you just want to loll about soaking up the scenery and each other (is it a reunion, or do you all see each other all the time?) or somewhere in between. if you've got any commandos in your group, they won't be too happy waiting for a big crowd to move.

wow - i'm so jealous! i wish i was going back right now.

Don't try to keep everyone together. Bring cell phones and plan on meeting up a few times during each day for meals, etc. Go to the parks at opening to be able to get the most rides in. Use fastpass wisely. Pay attention to the time printed at the bottom to see when you can get a new fastpass. If I was only going for 3 days, I would skip AK. You can go back and forth to Epcot pretty easily, so I would do that instead.
