Just got back a few weeks ago from a trip with friends. They decided to take us and it was great, had such a great time.

Now, I go to the mailbox to see a disney brochure with an incentive of FREE DINING when I purchase a 6 night/7 day trip. However, we have to use it by December.

Being a disney nut, I would have no problem going back!!!!!!!!! I know we just returned but we have never received a free dining option before. Is this offered frequently? I feel like a good deal should at least be considered right? If I need to budget and save every penny, I'll do my best but before I go crazy convincing the hubby to try and swing it.

Is this a good deal? Am I crazy to try and go again so soon? Not crazy?

Thoughts anyone? Thanks so much!

Not crazy :thumbsup2

They tend to offer Free Dining often though. It's become normal. We are going in December and have free dining with our trip as well ;)

Absolutely you should convince hubby to go again :goodvibes

Free dining is offered pretty frequently, but if you have a larger family it can be a good deal. You would want to see if the savings outweigh a room only discount.

I wouldn't go just for free dining, it will happen again, but it can be a good savings for large groups.

First, OP, when I finished a cruise with a certain cruise line, I got bombarded with calls for tempting prices on future cruises. I was all excited about the great time I had had, and I almost booked again. Then I came to my senses and realized I wasn't thinking of all the associated costs of another cruise, including side trips, drinks, travel, fees. In the end, I declined.

Now it seems Disney has sent you something enticing. In actuality, Disney has Free Dining offers regularly in slower periods. Nov-Dec is one of those times. Free Dining requires you to pay full price for the room, and you have to buy minimum 2-day tickets for each person. You are not required to stay 6 nights. That is just a sample vacation for ad purposes. In actuality, you are only required to spend 3 nites to qualify for a FD offer.

If you realize FD is something Disney offers every year lately, and multiple times a year, I hope you won't jump on that particular offer. It's expensive to go to WDW, and you're better off to actually plan a trip, at your preferred time of year. There are discount Disney offers throughout a year's time that give you a percent off the room, or extra tickets, or discount pricing on dining, any of which may actually be a better deal than FD. You need to run the numbers, based on your needs, to plan a Disney vacation right.
