We are going to WDW Nov 29th – Dec 5th. This trip is Birthday presents for both of our kids. DD’s Birthday is Nov. 25th & DS’s is Oct. 20th. Since this is their Birthday trip I thought I might have them a Birthday Cake served to them. Is this crazy since it is not their Birthday or is it okay since the trip is to celebrate their Birthdays?
TIA

I would do it. Last trip I wanted to get my son a cake but it wasn't for a birhtday I just put Brandon's Magical Vacation and he loved it. Since this trip represents birhtday I think I would go for it.

Hey, if your birthday was in january, and you celebrated it in May, so what?
In your case since the trip is FOR their birthdays, it's really OK. IMHO.

I'm pretty sure Disney will take your money no matter what. You can get them birthday buttons too!

I bought my son a cake for our last trip when it was not his birthday until the day after we returned. But since the trip was to celebrate his birthday we got a cake and a specialty cruise on the last night. He told my mom "I have a pirate cake on and pirate ship, I'm so happy." My heart melted right there.

We are going in August to celebrate my DS and DD birthday. Both of their birthdays are at the beginning of September and I was planning on getting them both a cake.

Thanks everyone...now I just have to decide which restaurants & which cakes, I am leaning towards the Pirate treasure chest and Princess Jewelry box.

My Daughter loved her Princess Jewelry Box cake -we celebrated her 7th birthday, the week before the date. We had it served to her at Crystal Palace.

Will be back for my son's B-Day in September (6), and will be getting him the Pirate Cake at Chef Mickey's

Enjoy!

Pretty much. If you tell them it's your aunt Fanny's-recovering-from-pimple-surgery-celebration, they will let you celebrate, and will probably sing to aunt Fanny as well. Just make sure your aunt Fanny is in attendance. As you said, Disney wants your $$$$! :thumbsup2
