Or does anyone else remember on Easter morning seeing Disney's Happy Easter Parade?? My mom and I got into a rather heated argument earlier today and I made the comment that I missed Disney's Happy Easter Parade, to which she responded, "There has never been an Easter parade!" In response I said..."I'm almost positive that there was, but it hasn't been done in several years." Well, long story short, we got into a heated debate where she said no and I sad yes and she told me I knew nothing about Disney and I just had to walk out of the room. So, I need some help to settle this argument...was there ever a Happy Easter Parade or not???

Nope, you're not crazy!! There did used to be an Easter Parade but it was stopped a few years ago. I was actually there for the taping of the 1997 parade. Ben Savage (think that's his name) and the actress who played Topanga from "Boy Meets World" were the hosts. We were near their float while they were taping (and fighting because each kept screwing up LOL).

I was a CM doing my College Program that Spring and a roommate and myself went to watch the taping. Towards the end of the broadcast, you could see us for a second. LOL If I ever get my scanner hooked up, I think I should have some pics in my College Program photo album I could post.

There was most definitely a Happy Easter Parade, and it used to be televised on ABC. It ended in 1999.

Yes, I remember this parade, too! I had forgotten about it until I saw this thread. It was a nice parade.
