My Sister, Nephew and my Son are leaving Friday Sept 28th at 10:15pm arriving in Orlando Sat Sept 19th at 10am. I am travelling seperatley on frequent flyer miles so the only flight I could get that got me in early on the 19th was a flight that arrives at 5pm.

So heres my dilema....
I can catch a flight Friday afternoon that arrives in Orlando at 10:55pm so I figure I can stay at the airport until early morning??? :confused3
I just really want to get there and be able to spend the day exploring with the rest of my family.

Ok stop laughing at me :lmao: Just curious as to what others may think of this plan or if you have any other ideas???

TYIA!!!

Are you traveling in a Delorean?

Take the Friday afternoon flight and stay in the Hyatt. It is attached to the airport. It will be the easiest way to meet up with your family the next day.

Is getting a cheap hotel room for the night out of the question? Because I'll bet you could get something for $50--maybe less.
If you plan on spending the night in the airport, do a google search on sleeping in airports. There are actual websites dedicated to this topic. Good luck!

:goodvibes Thank you for your responses but I guess hanging at the airport till the AM wont work since the flight would arrive by almost 11pm and my only point would be trying to stay around till the AM to meet up with my family not for any connecting flights or to wait till like 7am to go on ME to the hotels in WDW.

Sooooo do you have any suggestions or know of any threads with information on a cheap hotel for those few hours to stay in nearby? Should I try hotwire or priceline where I name my own price? (i have never done that before...name your price thing so i cant remember which of the 2 websites offer it)

Priceline tends to work very well for MCO-area hotels.

I often take late flights, stay near the airport, then go to WDW in the morning. Nicer places can almost always be had for $50-ish (+ taxes/fees), and "decent" places are even cheaper.

Check out biddingfortravel.co for details.

Thank you all for your insite :goodvibes

I have gone ahead and booked myself a room thru Priceline. I am so excited :cool1: I got the hotel I wanted at the price I wanted. :yay:

So I got a 3.5 star hotel Orlando Airport Marriott for $40! plus tax/fees & Free 24 hr shuttle to and from the airport.

So I will just go back to the airport when my family arrives and head on over to WDW! :dance3:
