Am I crazy to eat at CG twice? Alternative suggestion?

Hi. I'm heading to Disney in September and will be doing the DxDP for the first time. I currently have reservations for brunch at CG, dinner at Artist Point (Staying at WL) and dinner back at the CG. Does anyone think this is overkill eating twice at CG even though one is for brunch the other dinner? If so is there another Sig you'd recommend trying in it's place? I enjoy all cuisines so there's no place I need to avoid.

Thanks!

Nope not overkill. I've not eaten at CG for dinner, but have for brunch. I would each brunch everyday there if I could!! lol. That said, I'm sure the menus are far enough apart but the quality of the food is SO good that I would do both reservations.

If its what you like do it. We are eating dinner twice at Ohana this coming trip and twice at Boma, one dinner and one breakfast.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't want to change to a lesser restaurant just for the sake of doing it. I've heard mixed reviews of late on several others I was considering in it's place. Really wanted to try Jiko but might wait until things turn around there.

If you decide you want to try a different restaurant, I ate at Yachtsman (at BC) in January and preferred it to my CG dinner that I had earlier that week. CG was good, but my Strip Steak at Yachtsman was delicious.

Yachtsman was on my short list but I think I want to stick to the area around my resort, sort of a mini Boat/Monorail Crawl. That left me with Narcoossee's and Citrico's as my other 2 options. Would anyone compare either of those to CG?

My family prefers Citricos to CG, we like the food equally, but prefer the slightly quieter atmosphere at Citricos.

If doing 2 different meals then no it isn't over kill. If you were doing 2 dinners then maybe. But there are certainly many other excellent restaurants to try, but if it fits in your schedule and is convenient to get to for you then keep it.

I don't think it's overkill. Brunch and dinner are two different experiences and it's so close to your resort. I would keep both.

I love CG but I also really love Tiffins. Tiffins is actually the only place that is on our must do list for all trips.

Maybe you can do the brunch and then decide whether you want to go back to CG or try something new. I usually have a lot of luck getting Signatures at the last minute.

I would definitely give Citricos a go, and would actually give it more consideration than Narcoossee's based on recent feedback.

Not crazy at all! I’d eat there everyday if I could!

DH and I eat there twice a trip brunch and dinner. Two different enjoyable experiences in the same restaurant.
Enjoy!

We have done this many trips! In fact, some trips we have eaten there 3 times for dinner. Love the view and the food.

I don't see it as an over kill since they will be very different experiences. My only thought is that it might be nice to head over to Grand Floridian to Citrcos just for a different atmosphere. I would review the two menus on allears and pick the one that seems more appealing. I love touring the different resorts, so for that reason alone I think I would pick one at GF.
