Am I crazy to change plans NOW?

We leave for WDW in 29 days! We are staying 5 nights with 4 park days. My ADRs are made (only 2), touring plan set, FP+s chosen. However, I started looking at my schedule last night and thinking maybe I want to change my first 2 days. Currently we are supposed to go to DHS on day 1 (evening magic hours) and AK on day 2 (and maybe hop to MK for evening magic hours). However, we usually cannot fill a day at DHS; there's just not enough to do. I am wondering about going to AK on day 1 and hopping to DHS for the evening, and then DHS on day 2 and hopping to MK for evening magic hours. Am I CRAZY to change my park days at this point? I am worried about losing my FP+ for DHS (TSMM, mostly, but also ToT) if I change park days this late in the game. Is there anyplace to check what's available for FP+? Can I check availability on MDE without having to cancel the FP+ I already have?

I miss the simplicity of legacy FastPass!

Im 7 days out and in the same situation. At least with ADRS we can check to see whats available but I dont know of a way to check for FP+.

Just hop on MDE and select Update Fastpass+. I've been able to see the times available without cancelling first (although I have not tried to do this for a park change). The ADRs are a whole different ballgame -- I tried to change my days up (three weeks out) and there's nothing available at all. Where are you, Disney Dining Buddy?!?!?!

We did a "lets do it one more time before DHS is gone" visit in september. We actually needed a full day to do it. It wasn't clear what you are trying to do while there but you if your also treating the park to see everything 1 last time in case it all closes, it'll be a full day.

I'd follow the advice that teachers gave us back in the stone age during SAT prep. Stick with your original answers unless you're absolutely sure your first choice is incorrect.

I change all the time. Last trip, in August, I was changing days before and even night before. If you go in to MDE and select to change FP+ you can see what is available before making the switch permanent.

Yeah, I'll second (third?) that idea about MDE. I booked my FP+s about eight days ago and I've fiddled with the times and the attractions several times. Split our group up on one time so that some could do TSMM and others RnRC concurrently. You can definitely see what's available before you give up what you've got.

You can see what FP+ are still available on MDE without canceling your current selections. We were able to do this on our trip last May without any issues.

Have fun!

You can select "New Fastpass+" and change the park without losing your current selections just to view what fastpasses are available. After you select your three new attractions, it gives you your four best options (and as long as you don't hit "Done" you will retain your original fastpasses). This lets you see a general idea of what fastpasses are available at the other parks before committing to them. If you are worried about trying this, I suggest choosing a day that you aren't too concerned about losing and test it out.

I'm 7 days out and am still changing FP+s. I just changed from Splash Mountain to Pirates of the Caribbean. So you never now-maybe you'll be lucky enough that some nut like me will free something good up for you. I just use MDE and cancel any changes if there are no good times. Now if I could only get a better time for TSMM. Yes, I'm a constant changer.
