Am I crazy? It all began with a drunken discussion about vacations with my brother-in-law. First we started talking about Las Vegas, and then we started talking about Disney. BIL has never been and said "well I have the weekend of 12/12 off, why don't we go?" DH actually agreed, so here I am calling my travel agent about a vacation less than 2 weeks away!:scared1:

Do you think it's too late to make table service reservations? I'm such a planner and this is such last minute! Is MVMCP sold out on 12/14? :santa: so much to do, so little time!:yay:

It can't hurt to try! That way you can decide if it's worth it to do the ddp based on what ADR's you can get.

Call right away and check. Don't waste time asking on the boards! :rotfl:

Seriously though, starting 12/14 there's a week of free dining for Disney Visa cardholders so it might be difficult to find openings. Be open and ask what is available on your days.

I don't know if MVMCP is sold out or not, but you can go here and check.

Have fun!

Call the Disney Dine Number right away. I used to go all the time last minute to disney since we live in Miami and its a short drive away. I'd have to call first to make sure reservations were available at the resort and I didn't really worry about dining - but this was a few years back. Now I always get a reservation just cause I want to try different places, but I think you can mention without if you can't get them. You can always eat at the hotel or table service somewhere if worst comes to worst. Good luck!

I have done alot of last minute trips and as long as you are flexible there is always something open.

I live here and I get dining reservations 4-5 days out all the time :). You just have to be *very* flexible about when and where you will eat, but it's totally possible.

Also keep an eye on the December Wanted/Exchange/Cancellation/Trade thread!!

We did the same thing. We were able to book 10 Nights at POFQ from 12/15-12/25, and just booked 11/26. This is with the free dining. We were able to book every table service we wanted, except Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. Some of our times are pretty late though.

There are places that din't take ADRs. TRex doesn't yet, and Beaches and Cream doesn't ever. Also ESPNZone. But, as Ron Popeil always says, call now.
