Am I Crazy - June Trip ??? I AM GOING !! 6-15 TO 6-22

Hi Everyone, I need to double check here to make sure i am not crazy . ( my mom thinks i am ? )

So here is why.. I have to go from Maine to Kentucky for a wedding in June - Well that is only 11-12 hours from Disney - so I have been searching air fares, car rentals, hotels and the lot.!
I find that southwest out of Manchester NH to Tampa is only $176.50 per person (there are 3 of us )!! YA HOO .. so then the i find a car rental for 9 days is $270.00 Ok not great but the best by far now... so then i check out the hotels and find HI-Maingate East w/ a single parent deal ( incl . breakfast for all and kids eat free lunch and dinner too ) for $305.00 for the 6 night now the food bill will be low as i am only really feeding me so $400.00 should cover it.. Ok and then ticket mania has that great deal for 3 day hopper PLUS tickets so $455.00 , I will have to spend about another $110 on hotels in Kentucky so all in all my total vacation from June 12- June 21 will be $2070.00 ( our only spending $$ is the change we have been saving -should be about 100-150 dollars) Every ounce of me is SCREAMING to go but i can use that $2000 for home improvements ( nothing major just some minors ) as you can see from my signature i thought we would not go till Oct 2004 - a thousand years away .
Ps should it end up w/ just kentucky the cost would be aprox $1500.00 as we would spend the weekend in Ky and then the rest in Nashville .

Just checking in here to make sure that i have not lost my marbles and it really IS OK to GO EVERY YEAR ?? Thank Michelle

I think that people that only go to Disney once a year are crazy. I made the trek from Ohio to Orlando twice in 2001 and three times in 2002. I think that I may only be going to WDW once this year. The good news is that we'll probably be down there when you are. We are arriving on June 13th and staying until June 28th. If you decide to go, let's make some plans to get together. I'll be there with MIL Marge, DW Sue, and our two children James (15yo) and Sarah (13yo).
