Am I Crazy? Could this even work?

Wouldn't be even cheaper to rent a tent camping spot with no utilities?
Perhaps that doesn't qualify for the free DP?

In your first post you list 3 adults and 1 child, and then later you add that Mom decided to join you. If that is the case, you'll have 4 adults, and 1 child traveling in your party. Is it you, a spouse, an 11 yo and 3yo plus Mom?

You will ALL need to be listed on the All Stars reservation, if you plan to get free dining for everyone, and the credits can not be shared by those not on the DDP reservation, or you'll need to pay out of pocket for someone's dining.

From the Disney Dining Plan Brochure:

In my first post I indicated that there would be 3 adults and 1 child, for the purpose of the tickets we would be paying for. There are two children--one is 11 and the other 3. Therefore the DDP and park passes are adult for the 11 y/o. It is me, mom, DS 11 (who would be an adult for pricing, dining, and ticketing reasons), and DS 3. I made the original reservation for 4 (I did not know if DH would be joining us or not--besides that is all the All Stars hold--having 5 is not even an option) 2A and 2C, that's it, no more....Thank you for your concern, but I am very aware of how the dining plan works and how many people fit into a room!
