My fiance and I are going to WDW for our honeymoon. Originally we wanted to stay on property, and we have changed our minds.

I found this condo:
http://www.vacationrentals.com/vacation-rentals/2310.html

Which is 7 miles from Disney, 1 bdrm, beautifully decorated

And I found this one:
http://www.vacationcentralflorida.com/2bedroom202c.html

Super close to disney, 2 bedroom, nicely decorated

Fiance loves the first one because he likes the decor, but I argue that its farther from WDW. However, the 2nd one is closer but about $200 more expensive.

What would you all recommend? I am all about convenience! Mind you we won't be going to WDW everyday, just 4 days.

Any advice would be great! TIA! :)

Windsor Hills is a beautiful looking resort and seems to have a lot of amenities, so if you'll be spending a lot of time at the resort that might be important to you.
I can't find pictures of the other resort.

Also.. I can't find the cancellation terms of the first condo. That might be important to you. I'd email the owners and find out about that first. Also ask when you will get your damage security deposit back. And whether they use a management company that you would have to find to get the keys to the condo.

The http://www.vacationcentralflorida.com/2bedroom202c.html condo does not take a damage security deposit at all. If you did need to cancel they give you 100% refund when they rerent the condo. Also, they have a lock box at the condo where you get your keys. They'll send you the combination before you get there.

That other condo really looks nice though, and the price is great. 7 miles really isn't that far by car. But it is nice that WH is practically down the road.

Good Luck whatever you decide. Both places look great. You'll have a great time I'm sure.

Thanks for the advice! I keep reading nothing but good things about WH and the amenities can't be beat it seems.

We have the condo in Windsor Hills booked for this May and just to clarify about the security deposit: There is a $250.00 deposit, but it is applied to the balance due. The balance is due 30 days prior to stay. They have a great cancellation policy too. So far, I have found them to be great to work with and the pictures on their site look nice. The reviews I have read about them have been good as well. :)

I am all for saving money and I don't mind driving a little further to do so, but I don't think that the first link gave you much information at all. Did the owners send you more information like pictures and information about which community the condo was located in? If they have and you are pleased with what you have seen, then I wouldn't worry about it being a couple miles further. If all you have to go on is the information from that site, then I would go for the other one. WH has an excellent reputation, for your honeymoon it might be worth splurging.
