here's the situation. I belong to another board for moms with kids born the same month as mine. there was a mom on there who is having some tough times. he baby is due for his next carseat, actually technically was too big for the carseat he was in. she and her husband could not afford one...she was hoping in another month, but it really sounded like it would be a struggle. While I have never been in her shoes, I have had hard times in the past, particularly when I was just out of college, laid off from my first real job, and struggling to make ends meet. I offered to buy her a carseat, and after several e-mails back and forth did just that. told her I ordered it, sent the tracking number, and haven't heard anything since. I am not looking for anything, but I guess maybe I would have liked a thank you? just an e-mail saying thanks would have been great.
am I being weird? I really don't want anything in return, I just wanted to do something nice for someone. is it wrong to have wanted a thank you?
