Am I allowing enough time?

we have an 805 am reservation for crystal palace breakfast. We plan to head to animal kingdom right after and have a FP+ for the safari at 10:05-11:05. Will we have enough time to eat, meet with characters, and get into AK via Disney bus transportation to make our FP + window?

... But as long as you enter the FP+ line by 11:19 it's OK.
You'd need to be at the MK bus stop by 10 (30 min for bus + 30 for travel + 15 to walk back to Safari)

It could work .... But unless Pooh and friends are make or break, I would change to Tusker House or Boma (AKL but better logistics)

I think you're seriously pushing it with that. Just trying to get from MK to AK will take awhile. Disney transport can be slow. Also, when I had 8:00 am ADR for crystal palace, it was quite busy. Took us awhile to get in and we ended up leaving at 930 without seeing all the characters because we wanted to get into the park.

Thanks for the info. We are only in the parks for 3 days so I can't alter our MK to AK plans and Pooh and friends are kind of must dos. I changed my FP to 1030-1130....wondering if that helps any.

We also will have our car at our resort but I heard it would be difficult driving to the TTC and taking the monorail to MK for a pre park ADR.

Should we maybe just take that approach instead to save time leaving MK and heading to AK?

Driving won't save you time getting to AK.

Yes, I think that gives you a much less stressful breakfast / character meeting with a 2 hour dining window.
I think you need to leave MK no later than 10:30 to make the AK 12:00 FP+ (Of course Leaving earlier helps more)

Not sure how you ended up with this schedule, but I'd try hard to find an opening on a day you can stay in the MK.

But how long will they have to wait for a park to park bus that time of day? I can't imagine there are that many people looking for one that early in the day.

There are more people than you'd think. I would estimate the wait at 5 to 15 minutes. Park-to-park buses tend to be pretty consistent.

One tip I read on here was to go ahead and pay your bill when you are first seated. Then you can head out as soon as you are ready. I hope you enjoy your breakfast, it was one of our favorites last year.

OP, I think you are crazy. Why would you want to leave MK so early? Who wants to rush and stress out over quickly finishing a meal you just paid a lot for? Stay in MK for the entire morning. Then, around lunch time, hop to AK. Set your FPs for later in the afternoon.

Because they will likely not get much done after breakfast in MK anyway in just the couple of hours without being able to use FP there.

As long as it isn't EMH, they should be heading into the park right around rope drop. I think they could get a lot done on those couple of hours.

That's completely untrue. We can easily get about 10 attractions done by noon - even on very crowded days.
