From what I can tell, 6 PM is too late for dinner ADR's at the BC/YC area if we are planning on the late La Nouba, and riding disney transport.

If we're planning on calling a cab, is 6pm still too late? I don't think that the drive itself would take more than 10 minutes.

You can also feel free to post whether FF or YS is your favorite!

Thanks!

The Late La Nouba is at 9, but they ask that we show up there at 8:15.

You might be ok if you take a cab, but not if you're relying on Disney transportation.

A nice dinner will run between 1.5 and 2 hrs, so a 6:00 ADR should have you finishing up around 8:00 (IF you're seated right at 6:00). It is a quick cab ride, so you could probably make it by 8:15.

We went to the 6:00 La Nouba show and were told to be there by 5:30, but there were plenty of people who came later than that. Do you know why you have to be there 45 min before the show? If you can arrive by 8:30, I think you'll be fine with a 6:00 ADR.

That said, I'd probably shoot for a 5:30 or 5:45 ADR just to give yourself some cushion.

I can't imagine why you would bneed to be there for at 8:15 for a 9:00 show although you probably should shoot to be there at 8:15 just in case transportation problems cause you to be late. If yuou get there around 8:40 for a 9:00 show you should hot not have ;roblems.

I mnean enter the building at 8:40.

Why? Because there is entertainment going on preshow...and it's a ton of fun. We had to be there 45 mins before the 'start' and glad we did.

Anyway....I prefer FF. Love that place. Plan on it taking about 90 mins to eat. If you can, try to get an ADR for 5:30...that way you'll be done by 7. A cab will take about 10-15 mins to DTD. The nice thing about the cab is that it can drop you closer to Cirque. You could take the bus if you're done by 7....get off at the PI stop though...it's closer to Cirque than the Marketplace stop. And plan on about an hour is using Disney transport to DTD. I would take the cab...much less stressful.

It also gives you time to purchase snacks at the snack bar.

And if you are not in your seat at show time, you will be locked out of the auditorium until the opening procession is over.

I didn't know why we needed to be there so early. Thanks for the info.

Now on to the next question... How hard is it get a cab to the resort areas? I know that most of the parks usually have taxis waiting. Should we ask the restaurant to call us one at some point during the dinner, or can we expect one to be waiting there as well?

Very easy. There are usually 2 or 3 cabs waiting at the entrance of all of the resorts. If not, just ask bell services to call one for you.
