I am leaving tomorrow, and I would like to do a scrapbook of our trip when I return. I have looked on our airlines site, but I can't seem to find the info- are you allowed to take photos in an airport? I don't really see photos posted of them, or even on an airplane, but I never really saw signs or read anything specifically saying no, either. My guess is that it may be a security issue, but I thought I would put it out there if anyone has had experience with this?

I've never heard of a rule against it. I'd just try taking some shots very openly (don't look like you are trying to be sneaky). If someone tells you not to, quit taking pictures.

Yes, it's perfectly legal... however, I'll add that the only area it might be wise to avoid taking photos of is the security checkpoint(s). Though perfectly legal, taking such pictures might draw some unwanted attention from overzealous TSA agents or police. Unless you REALLY want photos of your loved ones going through the metal detectors, I'd find other photos to take at the airport!

HI there, we were in DL in may and we took pictures at the airport in vanouver and in LA and on the plane both ways...we had no problems, looks, or issues so i am assuming it is completely fine...have fun and have an awesome trip...:cool1:

I've never had any problems either. Here's a shot from our local airport on 12/31/2006, with my mop-haired boy on his way to WDW and his first haircut! :thumbsup2
