Trying to find out if any one else will be on this cruise with me and my family? :confused3

Could you imagine!!! All alone - the ship all to yourself!!! Okay, it's time to wake up from that fabulous dream!! Just kidding you .... I know what you are asking....but it would be a great dream, wouldn't it!!!

I moved this over to Cruise Meets...should be a good place to find your fellow cruisers!

Nope, you're not alone. DH & I will be on this trip. I started a thread a couple of weeks ago wondering if anyone else was sailing then.

Sarangel

PS. Goofyforwdw - Sept 9, 2006 is a Saturday. The 2005 cruise leaves on 9/10.

I'm on the cruise also,
Wrench

Anyone else? Just trying to see who's as obsessive about vacations over a year away.

Bump...

Anyone else coming with us?

We just booked this cruise while on the repo. We are doing the 11 day Wonder as well. Not sure about this itinerary, but right now we are booked.

Tracy

We also booked this cruise on our May Panama cruise..can't wait!! sharon & jean-marc

Count me in. Just got off the Magic on Sept 10 2005 and rebooked for the Western on board for 2006

I had a hard time finding this thread!! There are 15 of us traveling together 9/9/06 to Western Caribbean -- CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

We'll have a 10 year old, 7 year old, 3 year old, 11 month old, and a 7 month old -- all little princesses, well, maybe one prince. We don't know yet which the baby due in November will be!

Is anyone making plans for door magnets for this chat group? If not, does anyone want to?

Wow, Heyentah, you are way ahead of me - I haven't even thought about door signs yet (we most likely will have one, I just haven't figured out what yet). My DD (3 by then) will probably be staying home with her grandparents for this trip - it's out 5 year anniversary, and we're looking for a little 'adult' time.

How many repeat sailers do we have? DH & I have sailed 3 day DCL to Nassau, 7 day Eastern (St. Thomas, etc), and 7 day West Coast. Have any of you done the Western route before?

Sara

We've done two regular Easterns, a special Eastern to Antigua and the Eastbound Panama Canal cruise. We will also be going on the 11 day Wonder after we get back from this cruise. Never have done Western.

My daughters have done the Western cruise and prefer it to the Eastern. One of my girls got the nastiest sunburn in Grand Cayman (Sept. cruise) and could not leave the cabin until they got to CC -- the steward and doc were checking on her every hour for the first 48 hours. She had used sunscreen first thing in the morning, but forgot to reapply.

Apparently the cruise is smooth as glass, no ship movement detectable (I'll bet there are people who disagree ...) and the trip to the ruins in Cozumel is well worth whatever headaches you have getting there. This is, of course, all hearsay!

Sarangel: When we were on our last cruise, our "bb-buddies" all had matching door magnets. They were about the size of a postcard, had all the bb posters' names listed and then your name was printed in bold on your door magnet. It was just a fun little memento of the days preceeding, when we all were chatting online. People then added little stickers, notes, pictures or small items to each others' doors. It was pretty fun, and I was hoping we could do that again.

:grouphug: "kum bah yah, my Lord ..." OOPS, getting a little too into it :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

So, with 2005 being an ugly hurricane year: who's worried about hurricanes on our cruise?

We're still debating taking our DD, and I think I'd be more worried about hurricanes if we had her with us. With just two adults (and trip insurance), I think it's pretty easy to adapt to wherever we end up.

We are on this cruise. Myself, DW, DS 4, DD 6. My parents and sister who are lurkers on the board also are going.
