Can I just tell you that I'm still 24 days out from our Universal/Portofino Holiday, and I'm already packed and ready to go? Am I a loser or what? :D :D :D

i know how you feel

i have over 100 days to go & i check these boards daily for new info!!

lisa:wave2:

No way. I will tell you about a loser.... My trip isn't fully planned yet and I bought a shirt today and said to my wife "This is for our Universal trip." And now I'm thinking, "okay, now for dates...." LOL....

I hope you have those dryer sheets in your luggage to keep everything smelling fresh!!!

Nope not a loser or at least if u are so are we  we are packed and ready to go as well just counting the days down:jester:

Nope! I'm going there in June and have bags started, lists made, making purchases just for that trip.

Going to take my son to Gymnastics Nationals in May in San Diego and have that bag started as well.

If you're a loser, welcome to the club!

:teeth:

Sometimes I feel like I wish my life away waiting for vacation! Anyway, glad to hear I'm not the only one!

NO WAY!!! You would be a loser if your weren't!! Have a great time ....

Guilty. I have a bag started as well for our June/July trip. I even bought Sponge Bob Pop Tarts while I was in the store last night and put them away for our trip (don't worry, the date on them is 1/05).

Come to think of it, maybe that makes me even more of a loser. I always find Universal themed food (Spiderman, Grinch and CITH Pop Tarts, CITH cereal) and pack them for our trip. These are items that we don't usually eat at home.

SpideyHulk, I do that too. When I come across a Spiderman, Hulk, Popeye etc. T-shirt (usually at Wal Mart) I buy it for my son and put it away for the trip.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who gets excited early on. It's nice to see others just like me! I have a countdown on my cell phone until we go, and EVERYONE makes fun of me. But hey, its my thing and I love it! So, no you're not a loser and you're definitly not alone! Hope you have fun on your trip!

I've got a bag started and I'm not going until Aug. 29th!! Planning is half the fun of it, and it keeps me going all year long planning for my vacation! Enjoy your planning and your trip! Losers Annonymous UNITE!! LOL!

You're just eager/excited.

Especially highlander, who has little more than a week! :)

No you are not a looser! Me on the other hand…….. Would it be too early to take out my suitcase now?

Another guilty party here. Hardest thing for my wife and I is not telling the kids about the trip. They won't find out about the trip until we pick them up from their last day of school to drive them to the airport. This will make it tough to pack too much ahead of time, since we have to hide it all from them.

Not a loser - just a REALLY GOOD PLANNER!!:sunny:

After all - don't we all just count down our days till our next trip? I still need to add a countdown clock!

We will be going to Orlando over the Memorial Day weekend - DS and his Odyssey of the Mind team won regionals and will be going to State competition that weekend :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Does anyone know how far it is between Universal and the University of Central Florida? That is where we will be for the competition - I would love to get a couple of rooms and take the team of 7 to Universal after.:D :D

Depending on traffic and how you drive, it could range from 20 mins - 60 mins.
