Alyson's wish upon a star. MAW/GKTW Feb 16-22, 2013

Hi, my daughter Alyson is a beautiful, smart, funny 5 year old, who is also now a wish child. Alyson was diagnosed at 10 months old with a brain stem glioma. She finished radiation treatment just before her 4th birthday. Alyson's name was given to the Make A Wish foundation by her doctor. She and her sister couldn't be more excited! We have so much fun ahead of us and we would like your help to See this through We have receive Alyson's travel dates as feb. 16-22, 2013 to GKTW/WDW.

Any tips would be wonderful from other wish families! Alyson is excited to see the princesses, of course, but also anxious to feed the dolphins at Sea World. Doc McStuffins is her favorite. Does anyone know if she will be added to the cast of characters by February 2013?

Yay, Yay, Yay!! We are down for our wish trip Feb 17 - 23! Hope we get to run into each other down there. I'm so excited - it's so far, but so close too.

No, I haven't. But I'm already planning in my head. Thinking we are going to skip Universal - as there would only be a couple of things between the two parks they would be interested in doing. This will leave us either a down day, or a day to add on to Disney (on our our dime). I'm still considering ADR's at the moment and which ones we want to try that we have never done and which ones they liked a lot to do again.

Wish Mom Alumni here...when I had time (eons ago) I always posted happy pics for all. Taking time to do that this morning for my fellow Wish Families...it WILL be the most magical trip! WE did make ressies for CRT and LOVED it!

Someone specifically asked about Doc McStuffins last month, and the answer was that she won't be added any time soon. But Feb. is a ways a way.

I also wondered how the swimming looks for the end of February.

My DD will swim no matter how cold it is. On one trip in Dec., she was the only one in the resort pool, and the lifeguard thought she was crazy. I was drinking hot chocolate while I was watching her - no way was I going in.

I've been reading lots of PTRs, and many have made character dining reservations.
