Good Morning. Can anyone suggest a good seafood place in Orlando? Preferably a buffet with crab legs. We have reservations at Cape May but I think we are going to cancel because I priced it last night and it would cost our family $260!! We have 3 kids above 9 which Disney considers adults?! And a 4 & 7 year old. Anyway, we are disappointed because that was our favorite restaurant when we were there in the past. Are there any good alternatives? We will also be in the Cocoa Beach area.
Thank you!

It is not a buffet but I LOVE Fishlips in Port Canaveral!!! If you time it right you can also watch disney ships leave port :thumbsup2

Moving this to Orlando Attractions as it is requesting a recommendation for an offsite restaurant.

Moderators: Can you create a designated subcategory for Orlando area dining? There is a place for posts about "Orlando Area Hotels and Attractions", but not one for dining. Dining is neither a hotel nor an attraction. Or perhaps you could expand the existing category to include dining: "Orlando Area Hotels, Dining and Attractions". This way, posters won't get lost and confused as to where to ask questions such as the one above. They invariably end up on the Restaurant Board, and then get moved.

I don't know the cost of Cape May per person, but you could compare it with this:

The Garden Grove's meal has the advantage of characters appearing, but its only held on Friday nights. I believe they offer a 20% savings off posted prices if you show your AAA card, which would add up to a significant savings with the number of people in your group.

There are no good seafood buffets in the greater Orlando area. A good seafood place is Bonefish Grill and there is one on Sand Lake Road.

You aren't going to find another seafood buffet in the Orlando area that has all you can eat Crab Legs. That is rare to even find ONE. Crab legs are expensive (around $8/9 a pound which is only 2 sets of legs) and most adults can eat at least 4 or 5 pounds in one sitting. I know my kids (all over 10) ate their weight in Crab legs when we went to Cape May. So at $35 per person I think it is more of a bargain than anything IF you eat the crab legs. DH nor I eat Crab legs but we took all the kids there because they do. SO the value of the meal was greater for them because they ate a ton of Crab legs. There were 5 of us and our bill came to $200 with tax. Then you have the tip to add on to that. It was still one of the best values for the money for that whole trip for us. Because ALL of our TS meals came to be $200 and none of them had all you can eat Crab legs it was a normal plate of food.

There is Lighthouse Lobster Feast http://lighthouselobsterfeast.com/the_feast.htm

I think it gets mixed reviews so best to check it out someplace like Tripadvisor or UrbanSpoon or Yelp before you go. I've never eaten thre. You can often find coupons for this place in the tourist booklets found all over the city.
