Alternates to DTD garage?

We will be going to DisneyQuest on a Sunday night, and have some fears about construction and traffic. We are coming from the Animal Kingdom area. Is there an alternative to going to the Orange garage? I've read something about surface parking by Cirque du Soliel, but I am unfamiliar with the area and I don't know if that would be easier or better. Any advice appreciated!

If you're going to DisneyQuest, the garage is your best bet. Just allow for plenty of time to get there and when leaving.
