Our family are season pass holders and as such go a lot...so we have been thinking of alternate park plans.....and are thinking that you all may have some ideas too....

For example....

I collect pressed pennies, so one day we are going to go to the parks and map out all penny locations and mark them on the maps....

One day we are going to follow our Hidden Mickey book looking for Hidden Mickeys

One day we are gonna do the Masks and Stamps at Epcot too..

Hmmm, how about how many movies and TV Shows can we find reference to at MGM?

We are still thinking of more ideas.....

Have you done any of the tours in the parks? I love your pressed penny idea. Good luck! :Pinkbounc

I got this idea on the scrapbook board. This trip I'm going to map out a list (maybe!) of a Disney Alphabet and try to take pics of all those things to do a scrapbook with!
Doesn't that sound fun! I love taking pics, even more so since I got a digital camera!

How 'bout doing just things you've never done, or have only once?
Or how 'bout a trip where you eat in new restaurants?

other ideas??

I've started taking pictures of things that I don't normally take pictures of - like all the restaurant signs in a park. It's always fun to try to take notice of the little things that truly make Disney special!

These are great ideas!

I am a scrapper, so that would be fun, I did a ABCDisney scrapbook for anephew once.... one for MJ would be cool.

We have started keeping track of new things we do each week.

Restaurants is good, but we'd have to spread it out, we ususally take our lunch and dinner in....

The pics of things we don't normally see is cool!

I love the idea of a Disney Alphabet! Are you going to try to make a list of things ahead of time or just wing it as you go?

We're going to take pics of Hidden Mickeys this trip and do a scrap book with them.

My family and I did a scavenger hunt a few years back, it was a lot of fun :)

Basically, here is how we set it up:

We came up with a lot of activities that we could do and put it on one main list that everyone had copies of. Examples of things were rides to ride, things to take pictures of...even a "Jump at 4pm" :Pinkbounc daily activity. Only a few pretty obvious thing but mainly more obscure things. We figured there was no need to put "Ride TTA" on the list cause we knew we'd do that anyway! So we picked more obscure things, another example: "Take picture of shoelaces while riding Small World." Or, my favorite, "Dress up as a pirate and take a picture". A lot of the hunt was picture-intensive but it clearly doesnt have to be...it's just more fun cause then you have those memories in pictureform :)

Then we assigned points for each activity. Some of the more rare or embarrassing ("Sing to waiter") activities were worth a whole buncha points.

We also made personalized challenged to each other. Like I'd give one person something that wasn't on the main scavenger hunt list that was only for THEM to do...best yet...I could give it to them as a surprise anytime i wanted! And they didnt know what i had in store for them until i gave it to them! Wheras the main list everyone already had and paid attention to...these surprises were really fun as well :)

At the end, there was a "gift list" that used the points to determine if you can get it. Kinda like a carnival gift redemption stand. Just something for a little extra inspiration to do some of the harder (often a bit more embarrasing) tasks :rotfl2:

Dreamflight! That is awesome! I wish we had a big enough family to do that with! Maybe we could do that for a Dismeet sometime!
