Alternate Tattoo Design

This is the one that I thought about yesterday. I really like it a little better than the other one. I was thinking either leave it like it is now or put "Rocky Mountain High" under it rather than "Colorado". What do you guys think?

Too much detail......I like the other one better (but it's you that has to live with it).

It's really pretty, but I think the pastel colors, the shading and details would be lost in a tattoo. I like the other better too.

if you get a good tattoo artist, the shading and detail shouldn't be lost. I have a very detailed tattoo on my back, and the shading is what makes it so beautiful.

Just curious since there has been so much talk of tattoos lately, what do tattoos cost if you don't mind me asking?

I think its pretty but I would leave the words completly off and just have the design. I like the other one too though. My tinkerbell has lots of pastels and they definatly stand out.

It depends on the size of the tatoo. My Mickey and Minnie were about $80 or so and Tink was about $60 and the large one across my lower back was around $150. Of course there are tiny ones for $20 or so.

wow beauty, you got some good deals on your tattoos!!! mine cost $200!!! but well worth every penny.

my tatoo is light blue moons and yellow stars. after 3 years the colors are just as visible as when i got it done.

honewolf~ get the one that you like best and that fits your personality best. do you have any tattoos yet? if so, can you hold light colors? some people just cant. the artist that did my tattoo liked how well i was holding the colors and tried white, just to see if it would stay. i guess it is a color not many people can hold. it differs from person to person. i hold color well. and kevin can't hold red! it bleeds out everytime. he can hold most other colors well though. good luck and have fun!!

I have no idea the cost of tatoos elsewhere. I live in a really small town though and there is only one place that does them. Luckily he is very very talented and does an excellent job. He also does piercings and I'm sure he makes a ton of money....lol! I have been so tempted to get another.

I know the two shops that I've talked to here have minimums of $40 and $50.

With all of those pastel colors, you might eventually need to have it touched up a bit more often than with other design.

Liz - tattoo prices vary based on size and intricacy. My tigger tattoo is the size of a half dollar and it cost me $50 10 yrs ago.
