alternate number for making ADRs?

So I called the recreation # yesterday with a question about booking archery (my 90 day mark is tomorrow and I wanted to get all of my questions answered in advance, so I wouldn't slow anything down tomorrow).

Anyway, the CM was lovely, and answered all of my questions. As we were hanging up I mentioned that I'd be calling the dining # at 7:00, and once finished would be calling recreation to make my activity reservations. She said, "well, you could make your dining reservations with us as well -- we handle everything." She encouraged me to call the recreation # instead of the dining # tomorrow.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Should I really do this? Part of me thinks that I could do much better calling that #, since it will probably be far less busy than the regular dining #. Part of me also worries that I might get a different CM with a different opinion of whether dining reservations can be made from the recreation #.

Much to my surprise I just called to make Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations for my 5 year old daughter...when I went to hang up (BTW I only waited 5 minutes) the lady asked me if I wanted to make dining reservations because she could help me with that too! Boy...I wish I would of known that this morning!!! Good luck with your planning...I hope you get everything you want.

I called a 1-800 number to get my ressies. It was a tech support #, but they made my ressies for me. I had no wait at all. It sounds like many different dep. can book dining reservations. It really helped me out. I thought I was crazy though when I called back the same # to double check on them and they wouldn't help me. When I called the reg. # later they were all in the system and okay.

I have this vision in my mind that no matter what # you call all the CM's are sitting in the same room making the ressies....No matter if it is for dining,recreation or BBB.
