I put a post up in Arts & Crafts but haven't gotten a response yet. I'm doing an altered journal for my best friend. I'm re-doing the covers of a store-bought journal. Does anyone know if I can use modge podge to adhere fabric to paper? So I can use both? will it hold? how about the other way around?

It works, but it soaks through the fabric. Just know that you'll have a glossy, shiny finish rather than a fabric finish when you're done.

Thanks, I'm good with a shiny finish. I have some leftover fabrics that would look great

I used fabric glue to fasten ribbon onto a fabric scrapbook and the glue showed through! I think Mod Podge would work well.

it came out cute. I need to add one more touch and I'll post pictures
