Alterations while you are pregnant

I will be in a wedding that is in 2 months. As of now, I am 24 weeks pregnant and will need to get my dress altered.
If you had to get an alternation done while you were pregnant for a bridesmaid dress, how close till the wedding did you wait till the final fitting....?
I have to find someone to do the alterations for me and need to know as much as I can before making phone calls to find someone.
Around how much might this cost?

I would call and explain the situation. They can probably tell you how much time they will need. I would go as close to the wire as they will allow. I felt like I grew everyday towards the end with DS!

Thank you. I am planning on calling the seamstresses next week to see what they say. I think I have a shoe picked out, so I will have an idea for that. When my friend had asked me to be in her wedding, I thought as long as the dress can be let out, I should be fine. But being pregnant and in the wedding so close to my due date is challenging.
