Al's Toy Barn With Buzz

COULD ANYONE TELL ME WERE AL'S TOY BARN IS LOCATED. MY BOYS ARE BIG FANS OF BUZZ AND WOODY

Al's Toy Barn is in MGM Studios. It is located near the Muppet Show theater. I haven't been there yet either. My 3 yr old DD is also a HUGE fan of Buzz. When I told her that he lives at WDW and we are going to meet him (in July) she got really excited. She is not interested in anyting else about the World except meeting Buzz and giving him a hug LOL

When we were there 2 yrs ago, we found that Buzz & Woody are not static characters, always stationed at Al's Toy Barn. They appear there occasionally. It's more a matter of how long you want to wait with your tykes.

Be certain to check the posted times when you first enter MGM. You don't want to catch the tail end of the character's visit and have your tyke all upset because the time ran out for the appearance.

Don't forget you can also find Buzz and Woody quite often at the Magic Kingdom. Buzz hangs out near his ride in Tomorrowland and Woody, Jesse and Bullseye can be found in Frontierland. Be sure to check with a castmember for exact times.

We have eaten at Pizza Planet at Al's Toy Barn at MGM twice. They have pretty good pizza and salad, and both times we saw ALL of the Toy Story characters walking around!!! Maybe we were just lucky but if you spend some time there you may get lucky too! Lacee

Make sure everyone wears a hat and have a bottle of water on hand. The line at Al's Toy barn is looong and no shaded areas to stand in.

I didn't even know about this on our first (and only, so far) family trip and we just HAVE to make sure we don't miss this on our next trip! My son would be so thrilled!
I also saw Buzz standing outside of his ride at MK on my solo trip- I was so wishing my son was with me then.

When we were there in late April the Toy Story greeting times were from about 9:30 till 3:30 at Al's Toy Barn, with a 1 hr break at about 1:00pm. (they also take what they call brief water breaks which is just switching CM's) Line was very short for us but overall very light crowd that day. Pizza Planet is just around the corner and my DS loved that too. We saw Jessie there.

Also, for big Toy Story fans, if you are at Downtown Disney look for the big statues of Buzz and Potato Head outside Once Upon a Toy. We got some great pics there.
