Had to test it out on my nearest subject- having an apple.

I love your second shot! That is great. Also, that lens has some nice shallow DOF, huh? I like how her hands and the apple aren't in focus but her eyes are perfectly focused. Nice job. Nice lens! Congrats!

Thanks all-

Hey Jen- no- these were taken at f2.8. The ones I took at f1.4 were such a narrow DOF from that close that her eyes were in focus and her nose was not- or vice versa.
