Ok...I have two dates planned while we're at Disneyland.

One encompasses Saturday (Sept 22nd) from about 2:30pm until whenever - thinking we'll be up and out late. And the other is Monday (Sept 24th) for the full day (currently 9:30-6:30, but I'm sure we could extend it a bit if need be).

We will most likely be staying at PP Concierge over the Saturday, and Staying at DLH Concierge over the Monday...so we have the option of using the EE those days (and of course I want to take advantage of those).

So here are our options:
Option 1: Go to Disneyland Saturday afternoon/evening - with hubby.
Go to Disneyland on Monday morning for EE, and then Knott's Berry Farm ...from about noon till 5:30pm.

Option 2: Spend Saturday morning at DL (including EE at 7am) and then heading over to Knott's around 2:30pm (or possibly earlier) - until about 9pm or so. Then head over to DL until midnight closing, if we're feeling up to it - going on BTMRR & JC in the dark is fun!!
Then Monday we would just spend most of the day at DL/DCA the two of us - going to EE that morning. Probably bring the boys back in the evening for a couple of hours after our date time.

What do you guys think? We would have more time at Knott's in the second option - but it's on a Saturday...so how busy will they be on a Saturday in September??
I know Saturday is fireworks at DL, but dh isn't into waiting for fireworks...he's more well if we see them from where we are, kind of thing.

We will have from the 17th-26th at Disneyland, minus our time at knott's (we're considering one day at Sea World - have free military tickets if we decide to), so we have plenty of Disneyland/DCA time...

Thanks for your help!

that Sat at Disneyland is going to be super busy... It's the day after HM reopens + it's saturday

Good point...Any idea on how Knott's will be that day??

Cuz I know Monday will be pretty empty at Knott's...

guess I'm wondering will about 5 hours in an empty Knott's be better

Or...8-9 hours on a Saturday at Knotts...which will get more of the big rides in??

I have actually never been to knott's... :sad2:
So I don't know. Sorry!:scared:

no offense, but Knotts has become a dump... the rides for the kids all have height restrictions and stuff. The adult ride lines are long and there is a 'rowdy' crowd that patroniizes there.

That was just my view from when I went with a few friends last summer.

15 years ago I would have taken my kids, but not now.

So the choice is up to you..

We're actually not taking the kids...it's a date for dh and I. And we LOVE some of those roller coasters...that's really the only reason we're going...just to ride some of those coasters.
