Alright, all you Croc lovers...help me out, please?

I just thought of a quick reminder to those that wear the flip flop style, make sure to put some sunscreen on the top of your feet. I have the Athens strap mark sun-tanned on the top of my foot from our recent trip to Disney. I do ride an ECV, so that might have been some of the issue, but nevertheless, it can happen.

:rotfl2: I thought this was normal...I have a flip-flop tan all year round! :lmao:

I found the new fabric strap croc flip flops (capris??) at our local mall...they were at the Crocs Kiosk...I REALLY like them...very "swishy" foot-bed and the strap do not rub on your foot since they are nice, soft fabric.

I haven't seen any locally, our Dick's didn't have them, and I don't think our mall has a kiosk, but I look everywhere I go and not many local retailers have regular Crocs anymore and I don't understand it.

I have never noticed it before, but I guess I don't really spend much time outside anyway.

Hi
I love the Croc Scutes. They're like a slide, so the shoe has an open toe. They're the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. Also, my DD has the Patra, and she wore them all week at Disney last year. I also wore mine all week, (I have two pairs of Scutes) and we didn't get any blisters. My DGD (5)
wore her scutes all week also. You can see all the different styles on the Croc website. I think you're pair seems to small, if your toes hit the front when you walk. I have a pair of Mickey Beach crocs which feel big on me but they are comfortable. I had a one size smaller at first, but my toes hit the front of the shoe when I walked. Good luck on finding a comfortable pair.

Try www.dickssportinggoods.com I just checked and they have all three colors...they are called fabric capris ...I normally wear a size 8 in sandals and athletic shoes and I took a size 8 in these as well....hope this helps :goodvibes

I have 3 pair of the Capri Flip Flops and absolutely love them. That's all I wear when I go to Disney (unless it's cold & I wear my Wooly Mammoth ones). With the cloth straps if they get wet they don't make the flips slippery. It's something to hang onto. I've bought mine at Bealls here in Florida or at Dillards. I have seen them in Dick's Sporting Goods, too, but couldn't find a style that I like. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2, but wear a size 9 in all my Crocs. :cutie:

I just have time for a quick thank you before I get ready for work today.

Thank you!:goodvibes

To everyone who has helped, and those who weighed in about the other styles. I think flips may be the way for me to go.

I'm curious about the pp who has the capri style, did you end up going a size up as well? I know the most recent poster said they did, so I was curious if your experience was the same.

Try the size up in the Cayman's as well. I wear a size 8.5 and I am more than comfortable in a size 9 Croc. I have 4 pairs of Croc`s now, all size 9, and can safely say that the flip flops are just as comfortable as the Cayman's. Good luck and have fun on your shoe hunt! :)

I had the same problem when I got the Malindi pair. I normally wear a size 11, but when I tried them on they were way too loose. So, I went with the size 10 and worried my toe would slam up against the tip of the shoe. I've worn them a lot since I got them and they are EXTREMELY comfy! They feel as though they've stretched a bit and I never had a problem with my toe hitting the tip. I must've tried on each pair a dozen times before deciding to go with the smaller size. But, I'm glad I did. They've been great for me!

My MIL has a few pairs of the flip flops and she swears by them! I definitely think you wouldn't go wrong getting a pair of those.

I did not have to go up a size in the Capri flip flops...I normally wear a size 8 in most all of my shoes and the 8 in the capris fit me fine...I tried the 9s but they were just too big...it was more the strap that was too big than the length, i did not see a big difference in the length between the 8 & 9s. However, I know everyone is different. :goodvibes

I had a similar issue with my crocs...but I followed he advice on the Crocs site, and just stretched the strap out a bit so that it doesn't push my foot forward so much, and it worked!

This is exactly what I did also. Worked like a charm and does with every new pair I buy. My big toe would hit the the front just the slightest bit. After a few days of just pushing my foot back against the strap while sitting, it was no longer a problem.

I've bought a couple of croc flip flops, but none of them are half as comfortable as my caymans. And, I only wear caymans at Disney. The flip flops just didn't work for me when I was doing that much walking.

I had to size up on my Caymens. I have wide feet. While the first pair I bought felt great, when I brough them to WDW, from all the walking I did they rubbed the side of my foot and I developed a blister. I picked up another pair 1 size larger and wore them all week on our last trip without any problems at all. Yes; they are a little on the big side, but I don't feel any rubbing at all. I still wear the smaller size her in NY with no problems; but I don't walk as much and perspire as much thus no constant rubbing.
