Okay, still havent closed yet, but trying to plan a trip for next year. My question is will this work?? If I want a two bedroom at VWL for 4 nights, then downsize to a 1 bedroom for 3 nights, would they try to keep me in the same unit???Do I understand that not all if any units are dedicated 2 bedrooms, so this may work. I just don't want to have to move.

If you tell them what you are trying to do, they will make it as two reservations and link them. We did that same thing last year at OKW. We asked for a 2 bedroom lock off for the first 5 nights and to stay in the 1 bedroom portion of it the last 5 nights. It was no problem at all.

thanks - as long as all goes well (its been 3 weeks and the closing company has not heard back from Disney I am getting concerned, with all this talk of Disney selling VWL, I hope they don't buy this, we agreed on 64 a point) Anyway, I want to bring my parents but they will only be able to come for a few days, so I really don't want to waste points on a 2 bedroom for 4 of us after they leave!!! Glad to know it can be done!!

We also get a 2 bedroom for 4 of us.

Just wanted to say when you reserve the 2 bedroom, make sure you ask for a lock-off. The only way to close off a 2 bedroom is to have a lock-off. There are some dedicated 2 bedrooms at VWL.
