Already planning the next trip.....

We are going in September for 6 days, but staying off-site. Since booking, DH has talked to many people and they all recommend staying on-site next time. So he made me promise that the next time we go we can stay at GCH or DLH (probably DLH for the extra Disney theme with 4 kids!).

So.....when do they have the best rates for the resort hotels? I'd love to get AP's but we'll see.

If you are returning again w/in a year you should definitely get APs. I'd recommend getting 1 or 2 Premium APs for the free parking and extra discounts 15% in most places and the rest Deluxe. Buying all Premium are only worth it if you are going to go more than twice and/or on the black out days.

If you do get APs, I'd recommend upgrading during your Sept trip, that way you can take advantage of your Magic Mornings (don't get these with APs) and if you stay onsite during your next trip you'll get Magic Mornings that way.

I'm not sure yet if we'll be able to go next year or not. DS (our youngest) will be a year in December and I can't imagine chasing after him at DLR next year! We talked about it originally but decided against it. Now that I know I can upgrade during our trip, we might change our minds. I really want to go without the kids for a long weekend for our anniversary in January, but we'll see.

We are staying at Portofino Inn & Suites in the Kids suite.
