OK, we're hooked. We were on the 2/24 Wonder, and loved it so much we rebooked and will bump it to 2007 or 2008 (as soon as we'ves saved up the $$).

Being the perpetual planner, I have a few questions.

My kids will be 10/11, 13/14 and 15/16. We are thinking on maybe switching to the late seating so we can stay a bit longer in ports (doing the 7 day Western). We typically eat early at home, but I know there is no need to be concerned that we will be starving before dinner. I guess my main question is: what time does the second seating finish? Was there enough time to do all the evening activities (I know the shows are prior to dinner).

What was your favorite excursion?

What was the day at sea like?

Is the Magic as magical as the Wonder?

What additional shows/activities are on the 7 nt?

Thanks!!

Sue,

The ships are basically the same. There are a few differences like the fancy restaurant is called Lumiere's instead of Triton.

We did the late seating on our shorter cruises and liked it. However, we did it on the 7 night and did not. You won't really feel like you have to rush back from the ports to get to dinner. We are going for the early seating this next time.
-There were some activities that started before our dinner was over. For ds-13 last time, Pump it UP for the teens in the adult exercise area started at 9pm. DS was devastated that he might not be able to make it!!! Also, one of the deck parties was in swing before we got out. Just stuff like that.
-Because we tried not to eat everything in site so that we could enjoy as many dishes as possible at dinner, we were starving!!!!!!! Remember, that is not from lack of available food, just our glutenous selves!!!!

The main shows are the same, but I would imagine by the time you are planning on going, some of them might change. Perhaps Hercules by then.

The days at sea are heaven. No rushing to try to get places.
