Already booked - can they apply AAA/AP discount w/o cancelling?

I already booked my trip but just found out AP disc. offered during that period -- and possibly AAA. If i call can they check to apply the discount or will they have to cancel the original/ rebook and then maybe possibly lose my ressie?

If you booked a Room Only ressie then yes they can just change it to the code IF you booked over the phone. If you booked the original room only ressie online you'll have to cancel and rebook. If you want the dining plan with the passholder rate you would have to rebook to a package.

I booked my room-only Polynesian stay online and then called the day the AP discount was announced to have it applied to my existing ressie & they did.
