Alone Time Spa Package

Is this pretty legit? Any insight from anyone who has done it? Double the price I'm use to paying for a massage, but the 30 minutes in a private hot tub overlooking the ocean seems pretty awesome.

It better be legit since I have it booked for the first time in April! I know you asked to hear from people who have actually done it, but just chiming in...I believe you get a foot scrub, tea, fruit, and time on the lounger in addition to the hot tub soak. That all makes it worth the extra cost for me (well, that and getting to be “alone” for a while, which is nice when your kid is not a fan of the clubs!)

It’s a treatment in the spa villas, I believe only on the Magic and Wonder. For some reason the description is no longer on the website, but if it’s available for your cruise it will show up under spa activities when your booking window opens.

I think you have to do a couple’s treatment in the villas on Fantasy and Dream (which seems dumb to me, but since the couple’s experience is a lot more $, they probably want to get as much profit as possible from the villas).

I did it in October, and it exceededmy expectations in every way. It was more than just a massage — it was a whole little suite to myself for a couple hours, with a big lounging bed, whirlpool, shower. I opted for a body scrub plus half-body massage, which happened after the whirlpool. Then I was left to lounge and eat skewered fruit in blissful solitude for half an hour. The room is open to the ocean, quiet, and beautiful in that serene, zen spa way. It was really a highlight of my cruise. Shhh... don’t tell my family!
