That's wonderful news! I'm not 100% sure that I'll like it, so I thought this would be a good way to try it out

Maybe try the "twist" version then. It's the regular dole whip blended with vanilla. I found the full-on dole whip a little too sweet, but the twist was yummy!

Yes, this will be our first Poly visit as well as our FIRST FAMILY DISNEY VISIT!!

We are so excited!!

I've read through much of this FAQ, Okay, maybe not the whole thing, but alot of it.


And I'm glad I can chirp in that my next trip we will be staying at the POLY!!!!!

I never thought I'd get a chance, but the PIN fairy blessed my family, so December 9-16, me, my DH, my DD, my sister & her son will be staying at the Poly GV!

Is there a hot tub at the Poly? We were there in Sept and didn't see one but DD insists there is one because she 'checked' on it. We're taking the family back to the Poly in June and the grownup kids love to sit in the hot tub at their resort. Thanks.

No, there is no hot tub at the Poly. You can use the one inside the GF Fitness Center (shared with Poly), but there is nothing out by the pool area. Sorry...

No photos to post, but the quiet pool is located in the middle of the Poly gardens and hotel buildings. A pretty location, but you can't see the lagoon, the castle or the GF from there.

I saw that someone else was thinking about going to Universal because of Harry Potter. We are going in July to celebrate my daughter's college graduation. She loves Harry so I called to check room rates(not really wanting to leave the Poly at all). The person I talked to didn't act like she was sure the attraction would be open in July and if it was only 1 visit per person per day. Now I know that everyone wants to go but to say that you will pay all that for only 1 time is ridiculous to me. Has Disney ever done this with their new attractions?

I am leaving tomorrow---our first Poly visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont think I have ever been so excited in my entire life We just told the kids today as their V-day present and they are out of control!!!!!! I know temps are going to be cool, but I won't let it stop me from having a good time!

Oh how fun!!! I bet the kids are jumping up and down!!! Only ONE more day to wait!!! With the weather, I think it's easier to tour the parks when it's cool instead of in the 90s with high humidity! I hope you have a wonderful time at WDW and at the Poly!

Congrats! I am so jealous. I wish my trip was starting tomorrow. Enjoy your stay at the Poly, it may be your first stay there, but I doubt that it will be your last, because it's quite addictive.
