Hi Everyone,

We are leaving in 5 days.... and I cant stand it! I am an absolute spaz with excitement.... breathe... breathe..... AHHHHHHHHH!!!!:banana::banana:

My husband isnt quite at the same excitement level as me yet and I have to table my true feelings to keep my kids focused on school.

But I knew I could share my happiness with you guys :)

I am so excited. Just got the pathology report back from my recent surgery & I am cancer free. Just 6 more months of chemo treatments (my chances of gettting the cancer back with the extra chemo is only 6% vs 33% with no extra chemo) and 5 years of quarterly follow up visits. I am thankful and grateful for my wonderful news! Celebrating at the Poly in Jan. This will be my first stay at the Poly. I've wanted to stay there for years. I am so looking forward to this celebration trip and thanks to magical Lisa it will be lagoon view club level. I anticipate spending alot of time enjoying the resort because I will be somewhat tired from the chemo. From reading info here on board, I understand the Poly is very relaxing and laid back and I will be close to the pool where I can lounge, read and enjoy some sun.

I'm so happy to hear your good news. God Bless.

I'm an 11 year breast cancer survivor. ( I had 2 rounds of chemo plus radiation) For my 10th anniversary (and DH's retirement) DH & I took our 2 grown DDs and their boyfriends for a celebration stay at the Poly last June. What a fantastic time we had!

Sending pixie dust for a magical trip for you & your family! :tinker:

79 Days until our first Poly trip!

Sorry, just had to say it...

Wonderful news and a great reason to celebrate at the Poly! :woohoo:

love hearing about all the wonderful, personal stories of triumph....along with the Poly:)

There is something magical about this resort....I havent stayed in years, but visit every trip....and walk down to Sunset Pointe...and let out an audible sigh...lol...and think....this is where I got married:)

We just got back from 10 nights at the Poly and it was just magical. There truly is something about the resort that just sucks you right into the magic. The only thing bad about our trip is we didn't spend more time on the beach relaxing.

What wonderful news Sherry! Congratulations and all the best on your continued good health. Enjoy your celebration!

YEA!!! Such GREAT news, Sherry!!:thumbsup2

We're checking in next week -- I'll be thinking of your triumph!!

:cloud9:It's hard to believe we'll be at the Poly for the very first time one week from now!!!:woohoo::banana::cool1::dance3::cheer2:

That is wonderful news! I can't think of a better resort to celebrate than the Poly. Have a great trip.

Hi everyone!

I am back from an 8 night stay at the Poly CL. It was fabulous!

Housekeeping was great! Sheets actually got changed daily.

Chef Dick was there, and the food was delicious. They did have fresh pineapple with caramel sauce each evening.:)

The view in the lounge was worth every penny spent to upgrade IMHO.

Amber and Alexander were so helpful. Amber had a runner go back to DD when I found a spot on my purchase. Alexander had a runner return to CM when we left our Tinkerbell cup and light there. They answered all of our questions and were as nice as could be.

Kona, Ohana and even Captain Cooks were super.

The volcano pool is down for a few weeks so we we taken to the GF. the kids enjoyed their slide at the end of the week.

We splurged for my parents and did an Illuminations Cruise. Wow!!

The trip went by way to fast.

If anyone has any questions, I would be happy to answer them as best I could.:)

I agree with the PP about loving great news and celebrating life. There is so much negativity in this world today, so sharing in people's triumphs is fantastic and such a refreshing change! Thank you!

I have a question ... are you suffering Poly withdrawl like we are?! :sad1:
We have only been home for two days and we are all so sad and already planning our next trip. We miss our view and all of the sounds on the lagoon, the boat horns, the MK train, the drums from the luau ...
(and to make it worse it appears that we are all coming down with the flu  - it was running rampant in our town while we were gone)
