Aloha Poly peeps! T - 2 days ... we leave tomorrow afternoon and fly out Saturday morning. I'm beyond excited.
I thought I'd post now since I don't know if I'll be on the computer a lot tomorrow.

We will probably be checking in while we are there (until Nov.1), so if anyone has any questions, requests etc. let me know.
BreezysMom, jackal, mickey2minnie1 and anyone else who I might have missed, if you see us say say hi! Our family is pretty conspicuous. DSD18 has quite dark coloring, DD7 is a little blue-eyed, blonde-haired pixie, DD4 is a leggy Chinese princess and my DS & BIL, who will also be with us, are covered in tattoos. We're pretty hard to miss!

I just got home from a long 12 hour shift and we had a little family "meeting" to go over the next few days. I have a million things to do but we have a lot of social obligations over the weekend! Sunday is going to be a marathon day of cleaning, laundry and errands and then another 12 hour shift on Monday!

I will have all day Tuesday to tie up loose ends but the we have the Miley Cyrus Concert The bad thing is that I am FIGHTING a cold. I am loaded up on Airborn and Vitamin C and spraying Lysol everywhere

Thank goodness I am going on vacation

I plan on doing some live Tweets, twittering, however you say it, on the trip. I will post the link before I leave!

My mom woke up sick today and both my parents are supposed to go with us for a vacation of a lifetime.

Please pull for us that we can make this come together. We do not want a repeat of two years ago where they had to cancel right before going because of illness.

we checked in this past Thur. Oct. 15, but due to a family illness we had to leave the next day


we missed the MNNSHP on Thur. and Sun.. yes, we were able to get a full refund for the tickets.

our room was in the Tokelau bldg GV. our room faced the quiet pool and had the castle view on our right! It was amazing!! did get to see the Hallowishes fireworks perfectly. (room 3948).
I did get a couple of pics. will try to get them up when I figure out how....LOL

I have stayed at all the Allstars, GF, CS and off-site a few times.
we do like the condos off-site for the room and full kitchen, but for our shorter trips I will be booking the POLY!

About 10 minutes from Hawaii to the TTC entrance.

How fast do you walk? J/K Probably five minutes or less depending on how you walk. Just saw the post prior to mine--guess they are the slower walkers. . . The four of us walk fairly fast--we don't have a slow, meander mode when we are on our way somewhere.

I keep getting different answers when I call. For the longest time, WDW said it is 6pm Tues through Sun. on nights when they have the Spirit of Aloha show. Other times I've been told it is at dusk every day which would be about 7:00pm.

Now I'm worried my dinner ADR times will keep me from seeing this....

Thanks to you both! We tend to walk pretty fast. But we'll be there in July and will try to slow it down a little. (This last July I think it took us about 10-15 min to walk from CR to MK)

We were sightseeing. And it was about 105 degrees heat index that day on our last trip -- felt like you were walking in molasses. Plus I was just guessin'! Didn't actually time it - so somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes should be accurate!

First time staying at Poly & I'm so excited. Will be staying CL LV & was wondering if anyone knew of any room numbers I can request that will have a great view of Cinderella's Castle?

Thank you everyone for all the great info and tips. Today's our first day at the Poly and it is great! We love the theme park view, spirit of aloha was wonderful and wishes is starting at MK. Truly magical!!!!!!!
