I feel your pain. They keep sending codes to my sister like it's Christmas. She got two free dining codes about a week apart for this fall (fortunately we are travelling with her and were able to be included in one) and she just got the 40% code for 2010.

Why oh why do you forsake me code fairies?

My aunt just got a code for the exact time we are going to WDW, good at deluxe resorts. I have gotten two codes in the past 3 months, neither of which are good for when we will be there.

This will be the first time I will be staying at the Poly since I was 8 years old and my husband's first time ever. Can't wait.

But come on code fairies.... a little love please?:littleangel:

I hear you. I either get codes that everyone has (free dining) or a code for dates that won't work. I have a Disney visa and I don't even get sent those codes...

Augh!! just reserved Gardenview club level over Easter... Tell me I didn't make a crazy decision... The rate was too good to pass up. Only 75.00 more a night then gardenview... We have only been to the Polynesian once and are so looking forward to returning. We are DVC members so it's a long time!

I had to come do my single digit dance...:dance3::yay::cheer2::cool1:

I have to say that this trip is so different. I am not checking the weather every minute, it is nice not wondering what Longhouse I will be placed and I really am not too worried if I forget to pack something. :rolleyes1

That being said, I could change my tune at any moment :lmao:

How about my other fellow travelers leaving soon...how are things going??

Glad to hear you are so calm - wish I could say the same! :rotfl: DH is away right now on business, so I'm holding down the fort. The kids are actually stressed because I'm not done packing yet!

And, unlike you I am checking the weather and praying for our requested longhouse! :rotfl:

I leave on Friday :cool1: and I am still going back and forth with my decision:scared1: Currently we are at Club Level at the Poly - 1st time:banana: but now I wonder if I should switch to Deluxe Dining and a regular room. We leave in 3 days so I have to decide. I wish I could be as content as you, Breezysmom

lol so I guess the going back and forth and thinking about changing certain things doesn't change until you actually arrive?? I am constantly wondering if I should have booked club level..

It has been so cold and rainy here in NJ..I cannot wait for some sun!!!

I wish it did. Believe me. I cannot stop thinking whether I am doing the right thing. I think the CM's at reservations hate me;) Actually, I really would change to deluxe dining in a regular room right now if I didn't think the CM's would think I was the biggest pain in the you know what for changing all the time. Maybe once I leave this 40 degree weather and into the 80's, I'll be a much happier camper. We leave on Friday

I am still a week away from leaving...chances are I could flip out at any moment! :rotfl: Frankly I have been too busy to worry about much.

The one thing I am a little nervous about, and I don't even want to say it outloud, is one of us getting that thing that starts with an "H" and ends with a "1".....:rolleyes1 It seems like I keep hearing more and more about it!

I can't control the weather, the crowds or illness for that matter so I might as well "chillax" as DD will tell me

If that is your gut than just do it! The reservation CMs are there to assist you.

We are staying CL because we really do not like the schedule of ADRs. We have our favorite places and then we will go with the flow the rest of the time. I have said this before, we are resort commandos so CL was an easy choice for us. I would be just as happy in a GV room with the dining plan but since we got the code, we decided to splurge!

Good luck in your decision! :flower3:

It is really close, literally about a minute walk.

Thank you! we have always stayed at Raratonga (sp?) and that was very nice being right there.

I hear you on the H "i dont' want to say it" 1. It just started hitting our schools here. Friday cannot come fast enough. That was another reason I thought CL would be nice for us. If the Kids got it, I think CL would be a perfect place to relax and rest and mom and dad could still enjoy the lounge while taking care of them. That actually was another factor in our staying CL. If the girls or myself or DH did get sick, all that deluxe dining would be a waste as we probably wouldn't be hungry.

Which is actually how we were introduced to CL in the first place. DD was sick on our last trip and bad news from home caused me to have a total breakdown at the front desk and a nice CM upgraded us our last night to CL...it is in my PTR-TR. That one night was great!

But let's not go there! Positive thoughts, positive thoughts, positive thoughts.....:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

I have been filling them up with Vitamin C so there is NO way they can get sick. ;) We are all thinking positive:thumbsup2

I figure it would be $700 more to switch to a regular room and deluxe dining. We probably will pay about $500 oop, maybe a little more at CL. So, say $700 oop at CL. So, It's $700 anyway you cut it, right? We have done Deluxe before but never CL. Ok, maybe I am talking myself into this CL. I was so sure I was going to go Deluxe, but now I am back on CL. Someone really needs to stop me. My only glimmer of normalicy will be tomorrow when I can no longer change it.

My DH's work issued him a pre-emptive prescription of tamiflu (to be taken if he develops symptoms or comes in contact with anyone with the flu), so I guess if we all get sick he'll be the one nursing all of us! :lmao: (hmmm, maybe I shouldn't be laughing ... heading off to grab the vitamin C ...)

What does your DH do? I wanted to get some before our trip but the Peditrician said they are running low of the tamiflu so they are prescribing it as much. You DH is luckY!

He's a control room shift supervisor at a nuclear power plant. They issued tamiflu to all of their "category A" staff (crews considered essential to operations). I guess it wouldn't be good to have the control room operators all calling in sick! :rotfl:
