ALOHA to Hawaii ~ April 29 - May 14, 2012 Part 5

We booked our Fantasy trip for this summer and the DIS thread only has 6 pages! It is SO strange to have such little activity on a Disney Cruise from the DIS boarders! Wow!

I finally have everything unpacked, but I still haven't found a frame for my Ducky picture yet!

did you get one from the talk? if so which one??
We got Jiminy Cricket during the second show and is framed on thewall for all to see

We love it

HI! I was just wondering if there was a Don "Ducky" Williams print for this cruise. If so, could you please post a picture :goodvibes Thanks!!

yes, there was - but I don't know where mine is. Hopefully someone will have it for you.

I am going to take a photo of it for my trip report. Once I have done this, I will cross-post it here.

I have a plea for any of my fellow cruisers who went on Disney's ABD on April 27....does anyone have a picture of the Rodeo Drive street sign....I guess I was so overwhelmed with the fact that we were on Rodeo Drive that I forgot to take a picture of a street sign to prove it...thanks in advance.

OK I am jumping up and down!!! After dreaming about doing it we booked!!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana:

I have a million questions, but the first is has anyone scanned in the navigators? I would LOVE to see the activities for the sea days! Thank you so much!!!:goodvibes

I totally forgot to check for some DISers on the PC meet thread if head server Witt Tuncharoen was onboard during the Hawaii cruise. Did anyone happen to have him for your rotation? I had him as a head server back in Feb 2011 but I don't recall seeing him on my last 3 Wonder cruises.

I am working my way through getting my trip journal posted to my blog and I am scanning in the Personal Navigators for each day. I haven't got all the days posted yet, but I am still working on it!

You can go to each day's entry and click the Personal Navigators link to view. Hopefully, you'll be able to read them!

Alternatively, you can try this:

On the lower right side you'll see sub-albums listed and there is a file for each day's Personal Navigator along with sometimes other paperwork delivered to us onboard.

We are finally home from our extended vacation. We REALLY miss George our room service waiter!! I would love to have breakfast delivered and eat outside on the deck :-)...especially today when I have no groceries in the house! Too tired to shop after driving over 10 hrs. yesterday, so lots to do today. So sad vacations end with such a negative bang!

I have just quick scanned all the postings since the cruise, glad everyone got home safely. Cathy and I still are fighting the crud we got at the end of the cruise. I am better than she is, she is on round two of antibiotics and still sounds terrible. See one of her doctors tomorrow (at 7:30 am????) to get more help. Sounds like we may be the last ones still trying to get rid of it. I think we just need to be home to finally get well :confused3

We had an awesome time on the cruise, wish we could do it again. We spent 5 days in Disneyland after cruise with friends. Monday was an interesting day with us getting to hotel first and waiting (great resting time for daughter) on shuttles from two airports for three separate flights. Had to go out for a celebration dinner when we managed to all get together. We managed to do everything on Cathy's "list" since we probably won't make it back there again.

Great memories and pictures of cruise and Disneyland. I will share them once I get them picked out. I have over 3000 on the two cards :rolleyes1 and have tons to delete...may take a while. Plan to post on the site Angel set up for us.

After Disneyland Linda (my childhood girl friend) drove us to San Francisco - Marin country actually) and we spent a little over a week with them. It took almost that long for Cathy to recover from Disneyland:rotfl: She slept the first 2 days. Her Uncle Tim was amazed at how exhausted we all were. He kept making all these great meals to help us recover :) almost as good as cruise.

One highlight of our stay there was meeting Val and Bob for lunch :yay: We had a great visit and good food and beautiful scenery. We also saw the Walt Disney Museum..needed more time there for sure.

Thanks to all of you who made the cruise such an awesome experience. Our table mates were great and we miss our evening conversations. Meeting so many of you...now if I could place all the faces with the Dis names I would be in great shape. The scrapbook class was amazing Linda. As soon as I get the prints I will be filling the pages and many more. Corinna I loved the jewelry making, the bracelets are beautiful and I have been getting great comments on the Tinkerbell key chain you gave me..it is a zipper pull on my purse....lots more to mention when I have more time.................

Welcome home Judy and Cathy. I'm glad you got home safe. I hope you both get rid of that cough soon, took my DH quite awhile. Looking forward to see your pictures :)

Very nice trip report, Debbie! Glad to see there was at least one other couple on this cruise for which it wasn't absolutely perfect and for telling your unvarnished truth.

How was the gradual time change going there and back? Was it easy to adjust to? Did anyone feel really tired because of it?

luv2sleep, love your name and then your question as well. I love to sleep as well, LOL. I found the time changes MUCH easier than I thought it would be. We did it three days in a row so it was better than 3 hours in a day.

I feel like I'm always tired. I get up and think about when I can go back to sleep again, lol. I can't wait for our 2 week vacation away from work, cooking, cleaning, and the every day responsibilities!:cloud9:
