Due to family issues I completely forgot to book any of my ADRs at the 180 mark...only missed it by 100 days

We are DVC members and are staying at BCV in just 2 weeks..after that we are headed for the Poly for three nights and really wanted to try 'Ohana, but never had any luck. I tired many times a day since June, and nothing was available. A few days ago I tried and assumed, like always, no availability. I watched the August cancellation thread...nothing worked for me I almost fell off my chair a few days ago when a 6:40 ressie was available...so I grabbed it, quickly . I was like .

I had been playing with different ressies and number of guests and I thought I made the ressie for 2 instead of 5...slight panic attack but after viewing my ressies on line everything was fine

Just keep checking! Hope everything works out for you...sending you tons of

I totally agree with this! Just keep checking. There are always cancellations from people switching. You never know what you can get.

We're here now! We got to the Poly via DME around 12:30. Our room was ready! We got our request - Tokelau 1st floor. We are thrilled! About ready for my 1st Lapu Lapu...!

Hope you're having a great time! We requested Tokalau too. How do you like the location? We can't wait!!! only 13 days left.

Does anyone know if the Poly marina still offers sailboats, or is it only pontoon and sea raycers?

I have never seen a sailboat there? When I was there in May it was just searaycers and pontoons.

My husband also considers this a question of vital importance. We aren't going until October, but his research indicates that they still have one or two Hobie Waves - 14' catamarans. The last time he sailed them was in 2009, though.

Like I said.. I don't recall seeing "sailboats" or catamarans in May. I was at the Marina several times. Anyone else?

If you check the satellite view on google maps, there is a sailboat snuggled in the southwest corner of the marina. That is listed as a 2011 picture. They are not moored along with the sea raycers. Edit -- Then again, this picture does not show the GF construction wall, so who knows when it is from.

It would be very nice to get a definite visual confirmation. In the meantime the evidence suggests that they are present, even if they went unnoticed.

Because it is a pain.

Last time we went I tried to find out if they were still offering the family boating plan. It took over an hour of being transferred back and forth to find out "probably not - I'm not sure." It is hard to get the marina directly on the phone, and they are the only ones who know (or don't know -- as I said, I had some weird experiences when talking to them).

There have always been sailboats there on my visits. My last one was 8/10 and I have a marina pic with one in the background, so unless things have changed (which is of course, possible)...
