Personally I prefer taking the Monorail from Poly to MK, it's more pleasant then the very crowded TTC. Same with bus to AK & DHS. Moorea is close to bus stop. But it is better to walk to TTC for Epcot.
I'm not sure though if TTC still has busses to the parks though.

I think the buses only pick up in front of the Poly. The covered bus stop is kind of down toward the TTC. I don't think any buses go to the TTC anymore. I also like the resort monorail to MK better. However, to get to Epcot, I like to walk to the TTC too.

Just found these beauties on Disney Store.com. I bought mine, so everyone else is free to get theirs now:)

So I went to do my online check-in for April 17th. I went to put in my Longhouse request and there was already a check box in the Hawaii Longhouse and everything else was greyed out, I cannot change any of the selections. This would be fine if we were staying Club Level but we're booked in a standard. Has anyone seen this happen before? If its pixie dust I don't want to call and report it in case they stick me back in standard, but if its a bug instead I'd be sad if I didn't get my request. Any ideas?

I read just a short while ago (I think on this thread) of this happening to another person. The only difference is that it was her original selection that she had asked for that showed up on the screen. Hmmm... Maybe something new. RegardLess, you're in, right? You have a res #. And you're going soon. I don't think they'd give an upgrade unless they had the need to upgrade/availability. Could be Disney Magic! :flower1:Good luck with that!

Are the new Bungalows worth the price of 2,000 per night?

There is no good answer to that question. Its completely subjective and personal.

If they are always booked then Disney priced them appropriately and thus "worth it" to some people.

I've requested Moorea for our first stay at the Poly in August. I believe I read somewhere that this pathway is near Moorea. Is this accurate?

As well, since we'll be nearer the TTC, our plan is to get to MK and Ep using the TTC monorail, as opposed to the GCH. My questions are: are there buses that leave directly from the TTC to go to AK and DHS? And if so, would they be a quicker commute than those leaving the GCH? I mean, would there be less stops en route? :drive:

LV or SV Studio? Yes, the TTC walkway is close to Moorea. We found it VERY easy to get to MK and EP and any of the monorail resorts from the Poly (and especially using the TTC instead of the actual Poly monorail stop). As for buses, I don't believe they stop at the TTC like they used to? You might stop at one other resort on the way to HS or AK (I can't remember from our last trip if we did or not), but it is still relatively quick. :-) (NOT like the 5 stops at a mod resort before you even leave the resort and head to the parks)

Quick question: Do the regular rooms offer the Lilo and Stitch themed pull-down bed, or is that just the studios?

Just the studios. Pics of the regular rooms on page 1 or on disneys site. It looks like a couch that folds down into a twin bed.

Once again no Pooh sized shirts! I don't understand Disney - If you're Pooh sized it's, "no souvenir's for you!" Aargh.

Martin

You should contact them about it. They offer plus sizes on their regular products sometimes. I suspect with the limited edition stuff, they don't want to make stuff that many people won't buy. However, since they ship so much later, I had assumed they made them after the orders.

They have been shafting kids too. A lot of the special designs don't come in kid sizes. I would buy DS a small adult, but that's what I wear in these, unless it's a women's size. They are pretty long.

We are going to the Poly for the first time in June and have a theme park view. Which longhouses have the TPV and which one should I request?

So excited! Just switched our Sept reservation from WL to Poly! I have always dreamed of staying here!!! Hope the construction doesn't end up being too bad.

How busy is the laundry room? Are the machines usually taken? Are there busy times? I will probably need to do some laundry on our August trip. Unfortunately my requested fiji appears to be far away from the laundry room. I worry that since I am traveling without DH, it won't be so easy to throw in a load after kids (I don't want to leave them alone in the room). Maybe I should change my room request......

There is a thread about the new laundry machines at WDW including the poly. You can monitor them online to see if machines are available.

How about booking a villa? Apparently, each longhouse has its own laundry room! :laundy:

Oh, 2 bus stops at the Poly?
