Hi everyone! Just booked our first poly stay 10/31 to 11/9!! We want to stay in a longhouse near the ceremony house, and don't really care about proximity to the pools. We would prefer to be near mug refill stations but I'm not too sure where they are all located! Any help is much appreciated TIA!

Raratonga is very close. Take a look at resort map, its on page 1 of this thread, along with other useful info & pics, and Tikiman website has loads of info on everything Poly. Congrats on your first stay!

Wow, I just saw a concept art pic of the new pool area, so glad I went with Poly instead of CR for our quick trip in October!
We'll be using the pool a lot since we are coming for only a few days just for MNSSHP. Looks pretty nice! Hopefully all will be completed by Oct 19th!!

Saw that too and it looks awesome!!! Was really sad about losing the volcano pool at first, but the new area looks amazing! Can't wait too see it in person!

Only think I can't tell is if the new, smaller volcano is still a slide?

From what Tikiman has described on his page it is the same slide, they've just reconfigured the rock formation around it (I think to look more just like a rock formation/waterfall than a volcano)

One more month and I can make all our ADR's. We are staying CL so I could have IPO do it but I can't seem to give up the control. I feel like if I do it, I know it'll get done.
Next step decent airfare.....if that's possible.

The main slide at the bigger rock formation is the existing slide. The smaller slide is new and being added for a kids' splash area.

The first time we stayed CL I had a hard time giving up control of our ADR's. However, IPO got everything we wanted, all within 5 - 10 minutes of the times requested. You can still do them yourself though! (I will admit being stressed that they would forget and we wouldn't get what we want! But there were never any problems the two times we stayed CL) If you decide to go that route make sure you have a questionnaire from IPO before your 180 day mark. If you haven't received anything make sure you contact them a few days before to ensure that they have it in time to make your reservations!

Thank you! This definitely makes me feel better. I have the questionnaire but haven't filled it out. It just makes me nervous. Silly, I know. If I decide to have them do it, how soon should I get it to them? How soon do they let you know that they have made your reservations? Thanks for your help.

I would make sure they have it at least a week ahead, just to make sure they have it and have reviewed it incase they have any questions. They should get confirmation to you sometime mid-morning on your ADR day. Good luck!

I miss staying CL. I love the lounge but DH thinks it's excessive

Thank you! I will report back about how it went, if I can just relax and let them handle it for me. It would make things easier This will be first time at Poly and CL. I'm sure we'll feel pretty spoiled after.

Maybe you can take a girls trip CL. Say its convenient not excessive Maybe ?

Can someone tell me how to get to Hollywood Studios from the Poly? We're headed there in April and I understand you can take a monorail to MK and EP, a bus to AK, but I forget how to get to HS?

There is bus service to HS as well
