My DF and I are headed down to the Poly Sept 17-23rd for our Disneymoon! We are so excited. Neither of us have stayed there before, well I guess I stayed there when I was 2 1/2 but I don't remember it! :rotfl:

I am huge disney fan, been multiple times! DF has become a big fan (partly because of me!). We are staying Garden View-we would love to do the Park view or CL but we are already splurging just to stay at Poly!

If anyone has any good suggestions for us, I would be glad to hear them!! :yay:

Congratulations on your first Poly stay!!

Carl-
What a lovely photo of your daughter! You must have quite a gun collection  My DH is stocking his (as DD7 acts more like a teenager everyday).

CONGRATULATIONS!!! The Poly is a GREAT choice! If you are able to splurge for your Disneymoon, I highly recommend it. I typically get a Garden View and love Tokelau but if it were my Honeymoon, I would go for Hawaii Theme Park View!!! And since I've never stayed there, I don't know what it is called if you were to call reservations ;) I would ask for a 3rd floor or ground floor (since 2nd floor in Hawaii doesn't have balconies). Of course, if I could really splurge, I'd ask for the honeymoon suite. But you have to call for those rates.

If you have specific questions, ask away! Luckily we have a ton of experts on this thread that all have different areas of expertise!!!

Just what I was thinking!

She is a pretty good kid,,:thumbsup2 "has her head on straight" as my dad would have said. :rotfl2: I have this glare that makes the boys/men look other places. :rotfl: your DD is so very cute!! So get ready to practice the "glare" lol just be happy you don't live in a huge city like mine.. The kids here are "savy" at 10. And a lot of them I wouldn't hire to dig a ditch. We are blessed to live in the very best part of Philly.

I almost forgot! Tinkerbellie16 how are you holding out in that blizzard?? News is saying store shelves are empty and schools are closing!

Good morning everyone!

I can't believe that in 20 days I'll be in Florida and just a few days after that, checking in to the Poly! :dance3:

I did get our Mickey mail last week, but the ME stuff wasn't correct. Need to call today to make sure that it is squared away. I might as well add my room request too. I'm thinking, "3rd floor, Samoa or Fiji" will be my request.

I was actually in Phoenix for work this week. My DH called me yesterday morning and I called the airline and switched my flight. I got back to the Denver area yesterday right before the snow hit. School is closed and work is at home today. We have about 18" at our house and it is still snowing really hard. I checked my pantry last night and thought it would get us through the day :thumbsup2 We have the fire lit and still have power so we are bunkered up good

It's a far cry from the tropical paradise of the Polynesian!

You should send us a shot of that snow. You got very lucky congrats on a safe trip back and free of delays!

I don't usually pack before the night before!!:thumbsup2

Seriously?! I don't think I could wait that long. Packing is just part of the excitement! Of course, my momma always says, "If you don't pack it, just buy it when you get there!"

Good that your home! Good that your travel allowed your safe return home. Now just stay home and wait for the next 24-36 inches to fall!

I love the silence after the snow fall. Get some pics for us!

When is Captain Cook's so empty? :lmao:
Nice photos!
About 5am. I love to get up early drink my coffee, watch the sun rise and the cranes to fly by. It's a good way to get all the work still running through my mind purged.

I'm thinking of upgrading our GV CL room to LV CL. I would love to look out our window and see the beautiful scenery, but then I think of how silly it is to pay for that view when I'll have the beautiful view from the lounge.
