Its Offical the Music at the Poly is changed

How so? I've been there a few times over the past few days and haven't noticed any *bad* change or change at all. The music at Kona Cafe and around the grounds didn't seem that different.

It is on the dinner/dessert menu at Kona Cafe. Hadn't planned on getting it but I realized I'd had every dessert except this one. A couple next to me saw the fondue brought out and were drooling--they hadn't even had their appetizers yet!

In December our first dinner will be at Kona on our arrival day - no idea what I'll order other than the Chocolate Fondue...that looks incredible!! 5 p.m. Kona, then off to MVMCP!! Of course, first we'll have to tear ourselves away from Hawaii with our TPV!!

Maybe the IPO's will get smart and send out a heads up to those staying CL while the rehab is scheduled. That would at least stop us from bugging them, LOL!

Ok what's on top of those and did it come with that already or did you add it on at the table? I have been DYING to try them and it looks de-lish, but like to see all my food naked before dumping everything on top (and I wonder why my kids are OCD ).

Ok - this will only be our second time at Poly in Aug - the first trip it was too chilly at night to sit out on the balcony. What creepy crawlies come out????? I hate bugs!!

I've stayed in a balcony and a patio room at the Poly and it came with the usual suspects - the occasional insect or spider, lovebugs, and plenty of ducks wandering our way on the patio. It was quite enjoyable

Thanks! I can handle those, as well as the lizzards. But, I wasn't sure if there's anything else I need to be concerned about while I'm there.

I was referring more to the Palmetto bugs that start scurrying around after dark. I am not saying at Poly specifically, since I have never stayed there, but they tend to live everywhere in the south.

Steve Tiki is reporting on his facebook page that an announcement about changes to the quiet pool will be coming soon on the Tikiman page so stay tuned.

I am sure he is gathering all the facts for us and will give us the entire scoop

If you are on Facebook just search for Tikiman's Unofficial Polynesian Resort Pages and become a fan. I am sure he will update his facebook page as well. He also has some great pics and video clips.

I am anxious to hear what the big plan is and WHEN it will be coming???

back on the hot tub subject for a minute... we had one in a house I lived in when I was in my early 20's with 4 other guys... we shocked it or drained it after each party... the tamest thing we found in it one morning was a woman's high-heeled shoe...

that being said, since the Poly is one of the hold outs, I would assume they get one....
