DisneyBarlans those pictures are gorgeous- we just got back Sunday night and they make me feel like I never left... this was our second trip to the Poly and we love it...it is so relaxing and beautiful....my kids insisted on swimming every day, and the Tonga Toast was one of the best things I've even eaten in my life!! We stayed in Tokelau and loved it!

We were there at the sime time last year and I really enjoyed it. The crowds were minimal and although the weather was hotter than usual that late in the year some days, some days were just perfect

Halloween was fun too! We trick or treated around the Poly and went to a party on the beach and watch a movie.. It was a fun time.

Trick or treating sounds fun. I want to avoid the MNSSHP that night b/c of the crowds. Were guests outside their rooms handing out candy or CMs?
Did you attend MNSSHP while there at all? We are looking at 11/1 or 10/29.

I'm still sitting here and twiddling my thumbs--maybe we're driving tomorrow night, maybe we're flying Saturday. . .this is stressful AND it is denying me of the pleasure of anticipation.

did you try to low-ball a bid on priceline for a new flight?

So I had to switch our dates. My DH has to cover his boss while she is off on maternity leave in September. I moved us to Oct 29-Nov 5. It is only a month further away, but in vacation time, that feels like eternity! I guess I should just be thankful we even get to go and that he has a good job and that he was picked to cover his boss.
Anyways, I just had to vent. Thanks for listening!
I am off to replan our trip!

ps- anyone have any experience with these dates and crowds?

OMG! Won't the airline help you out and let you out of the tickets or something? I can't believe how much airlines can get away with (not allowing people to use the bathroom, holding them on an airplane, no refunds, etc.)

Yeah, tried that and had zippo luck. On the bright side, Spirit just settled the strike as of 4:00 p.m. or so--we're back on track for a flight!

Here's a few pics from our Memorial Day weekend stay. We were in room 1018 in Tahiti. Fell in love with the Poly-can't wait to go back!!!

You can wish for September because I'm going back in October. It is not on Spirit though. Then again, perhaps we shouldn't wish away our summer.

We just got back last Friday from 5 nights at The Poly. I love it more even time I go. Much of our trip was spent at the resort because, unfortunately, my DD wasn't feeling well (she's recently been diagnosed with a condition that just didn't mix well with the heat).

But if you have to be anywhere, the Poly is the place to be...!

I want to go back.....!!!
